Gospel of God's Grace and His Kingdom: Insights and Reflections

Rate this book
This book was originally inspired by Paul’s farewell address to the Ephesian elders on his way to Jerusalem (Acts 20:24-27) where Paul refers to the gospel he received from Jesus as the gospel of God’s grace and “preaching the kingdom”. He also equates these with “the whole will of God”. So in Part Two, the book addresses three What is God’s grace? How is grace connected to the kingdom? How is the gospel of God’s grace and of the Kingdom “the whole will of God”?

First, however, we briefly explore the nature of God – the God of grace – based on the Bible, other reading, and personal insights. The danger of false or misunderstood grace is also looked at, as is Paul’s dramatic awakening to grace.

Part Three deals with specific aspects of the gospel of grace. It examines the new birth and what this process entails, how the Holy Spirit works in our lives, and what is becoming our relationship with the Father, Jesus, the Christ, and the Spirit.

Part Four further expands on the nature and working of the Holy Spirit, the vital player in the transformation process which imparts Divine Love and substance to human souls.

The last part shows how each of us can avail ourselves of God’s lavish offer of abundant grace that will place us on the path to salvation, being born again or from above, and achieving our destiny which is an incredible future in God’s Celestial Kingdom for all eternity.

I am an Australian author focused on spirituality, Christian theology, and the reflection in nature of spiritual realities. Readers have found my books insightful, inspiring, thought provoking, worthy of reflection, and providing practical guidance for spiritual growth.
More specifically, I have written several books on the themes of Christian living and spiritual growth, salvation, God's grace, new birth, and the kingdom of God. The original ideas and much of what went into the books came by inspiration.
Another of my writing themes is nature and spirituality. Having enjoyed nature from early childhood, I have been able to later combine my love and knowledge of nature with spiritual insights. I believe that nature points us to God and reflects divine realities. This is the subject of my trilogy Divine Reflections.
In addition, two of my books are experientially based self-help books and deal with subjects of practical nature: "Abundant Living on Low Income", and "Spiritual Lessons from a Scam".
I have a degree in Biological Sciences and a Post-graduate Diploma and a Master’s degree in Theology, as well as a Master’s in English Language, and English and American Literature.
In the 1990s, while teaching English in the Czech Republic, my late husband and I had four educational books published by traditional publishers. Our conversation book, "Let's Talk" became very popular in secondary schools and sold over 66,000 copies, later going into a second edition.
Other than writing, my interests are in books and documentaries merging science and spirituality, dealing with health and natural remedies, and exploring ancient civilizations. I also enjoy nature walks, animals, art, and music.

This book is a thoughtful invitation into a more integrated understanding of the Christian life.

Eva Peck explores the gospel as both God’s grace and God’s kingdom, showing how the two belong together in shaping a transformed life. The progression of the book feels intentional and pastoral, moving from who God is, to what grace accomplishes, to how the Holy Spirit actively guides believers today.

What I appreciated most is the tone: reflective rather than argumentative, spiritually serious without being heavy-handed. The book respects mystery, honors Scripture, and encourages inner transformation over outward performance.

Ideal for readers who are spiritually mature, curious, or seeking something deeper than formula-based teaching. This is a book for those who want faith that is lived, not just explained.

I didn’t expect this book to be as reflective as it was anyway.

What stood out to me was the pacing. Nothing felt forced. The ideas unfold gradually, and by the time I see the book, I feel like I’d been on a journey rather than having read a set of teachings.

The integration of grace, the kingdom of God, and the work of the Holy Spirit is handled with care and humility. This isn’t a book telling you what to think; it encourages you to think and to listen.
A good choice for readers who want substance without pressure.

This book actually stands out for its depth and restraint. Instead of simplifying complex ideas, this book allows space for Scripture to speak and for readers to reflect. By framing the gospel through kingdom living and the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit, Eva offers a vision of faith that feels both grounded and alive. And the emphasis on transformation, rather than mere belief or behavior, makes this especially meaningful for readers who have grown beyond surface-level teaching and are looking for a more holistic, Spirit-led understanding of Christian life. A quiet, thoughtful work that rewards patience and reflection.

This is one of those books I actually had to read slowly.
The Gospel of God’s Grace and His Kingdom doesn’t rush the reader or try to make quick points. It invites reflection, and sometimes that meant pausing, rereading a paragraph, or thinking about how familiar ideas actually play out in real faith.

I appreciated how grace and the kingdom are treated as inseparable, not as abstract concepts but as lived realities. The focus on the Holy Spirit felt grounded rather than sensational, which is refreshing.

This is not a book for skimming. It’s for readers who want depth, clarity, and space to think.

Eva Peck has written a careful and sincere work that respects both Scripture and the reader.
Rather than presenting a system to follow, the book explores grace, kingdom living, and transformation in a way that feels organic and honest. I especially valued the way Acts and Paul’s teaching frame the message without becoming academic or heavy.

There is a quiet confidence in this book. It doesn’t argue or persuade aggressively, it invites understanding. Readers who have grown weary of formula-driven Christian books may find this especially meaningful.

As I read the Gospel of God’s Grace and His Kingdom, I found myself slowing down more than I expected. This isn’t the kind of Christian book you rush through. It invites reflection.

What stayed with me most is how naturally the author brings together grace and the kingdom of God. These themes are often treated separately, but here they feel beautifully integrated, as two dimensions of the same gospel reality. Anchoring the discussion in Paul’s farewell address in Acts gives the book a solid biblical foundation while still allowing space for contemplation rather than debate.

I appreciated that the tone is neither rigid nor argumentative. Instead, it gently points the reader toward inner transformation through the Holy Spirit's ongoing work. The movement from understanding God’s nature, to receiving grace, to living in the present reality of the kingdom feels less like a lecture and more like a spiritual journey.

What I valued most is that the book doesn’t oversimplify faith. It respects mystery. It assumes the reader is willing to think, wrestle, and grow.

For those who are looking for depth rather than formulas, and who long to see grace not just as forgiveness but as transformation, this is a meaningful and rewarding read.

Eva Peck offers a thoughtful and spiritually enriching perspective on faith, grace, and the deeper journey of the Christian life. Her writing invites readers to reflect beyond surface-level understanding and explore the transforming power of divine love and spiritual rebirth.

What I appreciate most about her work is the clarity and sincerity with which she explores complex spiritual themes. Rather than presenting theology in an abstract way, she encourages readers to think, reflect, and grow in their personal relationship with God.

This is a meaningful and insightful read for anyone interested in faith, spiritual growth, and a deeper understanding of God’s grace and purpose.

Highly recommended for readers who enjoy reflective and faith-centered books.

Gospel of God’s Grace and His Kingdom is a deeply reflective and carefully paced exploration of Christian faith that invites the reader to slow down and think, not just agree.

Anchored in Paul’s farewell address in Acts, Eva Peck presents the gospel not as a collection of doctrines but as a unified message of grace, kingdom, and transformation. What stands out is how naturally grace and the kingdom are held together, rather than treated as separate themes. This gives the book a coherence that feels both biblically faithful and spiritually clarifying.

Rather than arguing or prescribing, the book encourages honest wrestling with what it means to live under God’s reign, guided by the Holy Spirit's active work. Readers looking for depth without rigidity, reflection without dogma, and theology that speaks to lived faith will find this a rewarding read.

This is not a quick devotional; it’s a book to return to, reflect on, and grow with.
