Unusual, imaginative and gripping!
Wow. You get quite a lot of book with this, and I have really enjoyed reading it!
The characters were great, with non-stop twists and turns in the story. The author has used a huge amount of imagination to weave this world, but it is reasonably easy to understand and then very easy to get completely involved in it! I do like how unusual a lot of the content is, not at all the standard fantasy fare that seems to get rolled out a lot nowadays.
This is the continuation of a series and you do need to have read that, but if you have done that, then this book is a must-read. There is going to be one more book after this, and I cannot wait to read it!
