Mongrel Magic

Rate this book
This humorous tribute to Britain's mongrels offers readers a verbal and pictorial classification for their pets, be they vertical shagpile, borderline collie or Bertrand Russell. It also provides a celebration of the exploits in love, at war, at home and abroad of creatures with expressive eyes and gestures. Jilly Cooper's collaborators in this enterprise have been hundreds of mongrel owners who wrote to her about their pets, and photographer Graham Wood, who has captured many aspects of mongrel life.
