Enjoy this soulful community of transcendent men. . . . . . bringing you the gifts of their stories and hearts as they light a path for your sacred journey.
The Find Your Voice, Save Your Life series has a mission to use writing and expression to heal, both the authors and our readers. This fourth book in the series delivers, and is the first all-male collaboration from lead author Dianna Leeder, founder of CraveMoreLife.com.
Authentic healing includes embracing the powerful balance of divine feminine and masculine energy and the practice of awareness that requires. In this book you’ll find a raw, honest, vulnerable, and strong collection of life experiences that change the way you think about what’s possible in your life, shared by men who walk the walk of that sacred balance and practice.
"Find Your Voice, Save Your Life 4: Transcendent Men, Real Stories" by Dianna Leeder is a gripping read.
Guy Kilchrist's story is about him getting married to a woman with a four-year-old son. Soon, he expanded his family. Guy believed that only death could separate him from his spouse. But he entered the first divorce and later remarried but his second wife left him. After such traumatic events, he surrendered himself to God so he could set his spirit free.
'Cycling to a new you' is a beautiful story in which Scott suffered from depression and resentment. His marriage failed and ended in divorce. Years later, in order to find himself, Scott got the idea to ride his bicycle across the US. Riding helped him to clear negative thoughts. His story inspired me to find an activity which could heal me.
This book is an eye opener. Some of the experiences that I read in the book were new to me whereas others felt relatable. This book consists of personal accounts of men’s transcendence offering hope and opportunity for awareness and healing.
I appreciate all those who have shared their deepest selves with the readers through this book. It's a thought-provoking read. All the stories are worth reading. They inspired me to heal, be more self-aware and to work on self-improvement.
I finished this book because it was a gift. A gift that was given both because I might need transcendence or because the giver knew someone who knew one of the authors. It was a chore that took 5 months which worked because it is a collection of stories. Being written by different people and edited poorly means that the quality varied greatly. Some were just unreadable and some of the authors were certifiably nuts. I certainly enjoy stories of sorrow and healing, and there were a few, but as a skeptic and an avid believer in science, I don’t care for the chakra, the mysticism the shaman - I have trouble enough with traditional religions. If you’re into that sort of thing, and you don’t mind poor writing this book is for you.
This book touched my heart! These 22 stories from men about their journeys to transcendence are filled with vulnerability and authenticity. We all need to transcend no matter our journey. These men were willing to document their journeys for us all to read. I found a bit of myself in each story and wanted to know more about each author. I hope all the men I love find their way to this book. In particular, I hope my sons bump into this on their journeys, read it, find a way to transcendence, and write their own stories.
Dive into intimate experiences of 22 men who break the norms and expectations of the society. Men who courageously share their deep vulnerabilities.
A reminder that no matter how difficult our life is, we can overcome our challenges and transform ourselves into stronger, wiser, kinder, gentler and more compassionate human beings.
