From one single Jesus girl to another, this book helps you navigate your season of singleness.
Fed up of the stock Christian platitudes to deal with singleness? That “gift” of singleness that you’d much rather give back?

Well, Paula gets it. Pull up a chair and have a real chat. Explore the ups and downs together, with Paula’s oh-so-relatable anecdotes of the single life, told with fun, humour and refreshing authenticity.

Years of learning and prayer have been poured into these pages for you. As your confidant through the challenges (and sometimes joys) of singleness, you’ll be gently encouraged to discover and embrace what God has for you in this season.

And for all the not-so-single friends, welcome and thank you. You’re a kind friend for finding out what it’s really like. Because your single pal probably doesn’t need to hear Jeremiah 29:11 or advice to “trust in God’s timing” again…

Singled Out was delivered yesterday afternoon and I have just finished it. This book had me hooked, challenged and kept me flicking through my bible to highlight and reflect. It is definitely a book I'll need to read again, but for now, what I really needed was the highlight reel to start. I am sure that God with pull me in deeper as I reflect on what I've just read because there are so many nuggets of wisdom sprinkled through the narrative. My copy is now full of highlights and reflective notes. (I don't think this is the kind of book that you can read and keep perfect! - sorry book purists!!) It's easy to read but there will be moments that stop you in your tracks to pause.

What I liked most about this book is that its raw and relatable. Paula write the thoughts going through our minds and words them in a way where you know that you and the author could probably have a good laugh (or cry) sharing your thoughts/stories.

The take home messages are strong and backed by scripture. There are beautiful surprises in there too such as a poem she's written and some reflections on what she'd say to her younger self. Am very thankful that my mum discovered Paula's writing from the inspiring women devotionals and even more thankful that Paula took the risk to write this book.
