The underhanded story of the 1982 World's Fair in Knoxville- this one is a must read for a student of Tennessee history. Professor Dodd- a polly Sci teacher at the University of Tennesseee went against the local establishment with this one. He was the first to enlighten the public as to the true motives from the President of the US down. A must read for student of urban political economy. Being born and raised in Morristown Tennesseee I understand the players- this one puts together the puzzle pieces. Ties together President Jimmy Carter, Bert Lance, Jake Butcher, Lionel B. Wilde, Jim Sasser, and Jessee Barr. Coined the term The 1982 World's Unfair.
