This is the third book in the Billion-Dollar Attitudes Series and is Ariel and Guy's story. A gripping story that will tear at your heart. The search is still on for the person who is creating havoc in so many lives. Ariel and Guy are pulled together but is their love forbidden. This book is full of drama and suspense. What about what happens with Guy's sister? The book has a lot of drama and suspense that will keep your attention, I read a free advance copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.

This was an enjoyable read. Guy is the next one in the group to be targeted by the murderer. He runs into Ariel and they hit it off. Unfortunately, his sister isn't happy about it. On top of that she is also pulled into the mess. Thankfully their relationship works out. Now we just have to wait and see who is behind everything.

The Joy of Love Threatened by Dark Malevolence
Guy Jackson has had luck in his friendships. When he matriculated to Berkley he was lucky to connect with 5 other guys, really brothers from different mothers—Daniel, Chase, Brad, Mitch and Ryder—who bonded over their years of college and then as the founders of INT Coms, a billion-dollar tech company which was an idea the guys conceived in college. As the CFO of the company that the friends, now business partners, have successfully grown from a startup to a major player in the tech field, Guy is ready to enjoy the bounties of the guys’ success.
But, over the last couple of years, while the company’s success has continued to grow, the personal lives of the guys have been impacted by an outside threat that seems determined to hurt or destroy the guys—or if they can’t get to the guys—to threaten those who are loved by them—children, wives, sisters. So, just as the guys should be able to kick back and enjoy the financial fruits of their minds and labors, the guys are constantly needing to acquire personal security, never feeling like they can fully relax.
So, when Guy’s younger sister Megan determines that she will play matchmaker for her brother, setting him up with an acquaintance, Chelsea, a vet tech with valley girl speech contrasted with international snobby tendencies, Guy is convinced that he can manage his own dating life, especially when the unpleasantness of the awkward date was punctuated by the murder of his driver, Clarence.
But, when Megan’s bff, Ariel McMasters, an emerging mystery writer who writes under the pseudonym Megan Hodges, returns to San Diego from London where her agent/editor resides, Guy is blown away how beautiful and engaging his younger sister’s childhood friend has become. So, drawn by the dark-haired beauty with smokey eyes framed by black glasses, he explores breaking the rule of not dating his younger sister’s best friend. But, as Guy begins his pursuit of Ariel, it seems that the malevolent darkness that has woven around the guys of INT Coms begins to weave itself around Guy and the vulnerable women in his life—his sister Megan and her best friend, the woman he is coming to love, Ariel.
JP Comeau has once more crafted an intriguing story of friends and the dark forces that unknowingly are at work in their world. I look forward to the next friend’s story; however, I did find some of the clues of the mystery a bit tedious and irritating. The love story and the mystery were tangled a bit more than necessary.
I received a copy of the romance through Booksprout, and always enjoy a JP Comeau tale of friends and the forces at work around them. I have purchased and read the all three published installments of Billion Dollar Attitudes and anticipate the next installment.

Jonathan, no not that one.
Fantastic book. Guy is on another blind date arranged by his sister. As soon as she arrives he’s trying to figure out how to leave so he excuses himself and goes to the bathroom. As he stands at the sink he hears something but, gets no response when he calls out. Then he hears it again and opens every stall door. When he opens the last one he rushes to the sink to be sick. He driver sits on the toilet with his throat cut and not note from their mysterious killer targeting him next. Once he is allowed to leave he goes home. A couple weeks later he arrives at his sister’s house for her birthday party and sees her best friend, Ariel, for the first time in years. She gorgeous. They spend time together over the coming weeks and his sister, Meghan, is furious telling him to stay away from Ariel. Not happening and he lets her know that. One of his friends and partner tells him that he could inadvertently put Ariel in danger with all them being targeted. (I have to shorten this before I’m informed it’s too long, soooo). Ariel gets a flower delivery from Guy, that he didn’t send. He tells her about the danger he might have put her in. She runs from him back to London. Meghan is kidnapped and beaten left fighting for her life. Guy moves to a security fortress while worrying about Ariel’s whereabouts. Finally, finding her he video calls her and both miss the other. Ariel fights her own battle in the hospital and Guy flies to her when her friend calls to tell him she took a turn for the worst the previous night. Ariel tells him the truth about why she’s in the hospital. They spend Christmas in London and return home for New Year’s Eve where his friends have arranged a party. Ariel reluctantly agrees to stay with him for security reasons and the next day go visit Meghan at the rehab center. Because her kidnapper hasn’t been caught Guy and Ariel suggest she come stay with them. She is actually happy that they are together and agrees. But, are they all really safe?.

Ariel moved to San Diego after breaking up from a three year relationship. Her ex cheated on her. So she left London and decided to be closer to her friend.
Never thought that she would be taken by Guy. They hit it off right from the beginning. Meagan got into Guy's face about keeping away from Ariel. She was special and didn't need someone like him.
He made a date with her to go to the San Diego zoo. They had a wonderful day and enjoyed each others company.
Ariel was still a virgin and wanted it to be special when she decided to give it away. She wanted Guy to be that someone. He was honored and loved showing her how to be cherished.
But little did they know the murderer was after them. Their lives were torn apart. Guy wanted to protect her. Meagan was kidnapped and badly beaten. She almost didn't survive.
Ariel didn't follow Guy like she was supposed to. Instead, she drove to Arizona and grabbed a plane to London.

One Big Mistake: A Forbidden Romance is Book 3 in the Billion-Dollar Attitudes Series written by J.P. Comeau. It is a great addition to the series this time following the love story of Guy and Ariel. The characters are well developed. It is not necessary to have read the first two books in the series but it is nice to read them in order to know the history of the company's problems.
Guy is co-owner to a major tech company along with 5 of his college friends. Guy is the most recent object of the serial stalker and murderer. His driver is the most recent murder victim. He found his driver dead in the men's room of a restaurant while on a date.
Ariel is best friends with Guy's much younger sister. The girls have been BFF's since childhood. She had left California to go to College and travel around Europe. She ended up in London becoming a well known author. She returned to San Diego after a bad break-up and looking forward to seeing her best friend Megan.
Guy and Ariel reconnect at his sister Megan's Birthday Party. They run into each other again at a local coffee house/ Bookstore purely by accident and end up having dinner together at Ariel's apartment. Guy knows his attraction to Ariel will cause problems with his sister but he can't stay away. Their story is chock full of ups, downs and angst. You will laugh and cry and everything in between. You will experience all the feels and the HEA you have come to expect from Ms. Comeau's Books.

The Right Time With The Right Person -
Ariel had just recovered from her ex-boyfriend betrayal, when she met her best friend’s older brother as an adult, but she never thought he would be interested in her romantically. Guy couldn’t believe the pull he felt towards Ariel, as she was his younger sister’s best friend, but he just knew in his gut that she was special and he had to get to know her better.
Unfortunately, Guy’s sister Meagan is against them as a couple, but they just couldn’t hold back their attraction for each other. Just as they embark on a relationship, their lives are disrupted with a reign of terror and they have to take steps to keep themselves safe, whilst enjoying the new addition to the family.
This was one of the best suspense and angst filled romance stories I have read in quite a while. The twists and turns in the plot had me on the edge of my seat, whilst I waited with bated breath and I was also routing for them to not only get their happily ever after, but also be safe. I urge you to make time to read this book, because boy was it worth my time.

Guy and Ariel have known each other for years through his sister who is also one of Ariel’s best friends. Guy is a rich, very successful tech business owner who along with his partners seems to have garnered the attention of a killer. This killer has managed to evade detection and capture for months and is now targeting people Guy and his partners care about. Ariel is in town now to visit Megan, Guy’s sister, and to finish her book. Megan witnesses their chemistry and forbids both them to date or hook up with each other. Ariel, however, is an independent woman with wants and needs and she has decided to ignore her friends dictate. Guy is more than willing to go along with Ariel’s plan, at least until they discover that the killer knows about Ariel and sees her as a target. The rest of their story features more dangerous incidents, health mishaps and the continued investigation all while Ariel and Guy fight their feelings for each other. Their story is a bit angsty, definitely complicated and somehow leads to more than either could have ever expected.

Book three in the series continues with plenty of mystery, suspense, and intrigue as Guy's sister Meagan had set him up on a blind date. After meeting her, he excused himself going to the restroom discovering his driver had been murdered with the usual date and warning left so he knew then he would be the next one the creep would be after. He knew that he would have to increase his security, but he did not think about his sister Meagan. He did attend Meagan's birthday party where he got reacquainted with her bestfriend, Ariel that had just returned from living for several years in London, England. In a lot of ways Guy and Ariel fit together. There was an attraction between them, and Ariel was a murder mystery crime novelist. The group has decided the police are not going to be much help in solving this case so they need to be more proactive in helping with more personal security, PIs, and any personal technical assistance they themselves can provide. An amazing story with a heart stopping moment of action, when Meagan was kidnapped. You for sure will not to miss this one.

As the investigation continues to try to find out who might be behind all the murders Guy tries to keep his loved ones safe.
I could not put the book down it had me on the edge of my seat.It is a gripping story with lots of angst,mystery,suspense,danger,
romance a big surprise and of course a well deserved HEA.
I cannot wait for the next book in the series to see what happens next.

This is the 3rd story in the Billion-Dollar Attitudes Series and Guy realizes their stalker has set their sights on him and those he loves. At the same time he starts dating his sisters best friend, Ariel. With all the creepy and horrible stuff happening to Guy and his college friends/business partners he starts dating Ariel in secret who is a author writing crime stories recently back from London. One night his driver is found dead in the restaurant bathroom later finding out it should have been him. These two find themselves attracted to one another and they become intimate. When the stalker becomes more dangerous Ariel runs away back to London and at the same time Megan is kidnapped and beaten left on the side of the road. Guy is hanging on by a thread with no word from Ariel and Megan’s injuries. When given the chance to start over together as a family they take it with their hearts full of love! There's a killer on the loose who's targeting the owners of Rosedale, a high tech company, and their families. They don't know who or why, but they won't give up until he or she is caught. There's always a note, with a message that hints that the killer knows them well, and in the meantime, they're aware that they're being stalked. Guy is home at the behest of his sister, Meagan, and her best friend, Ariel has come to stay. She's writing a mystery novel and getting everyday calls from her editor in London. When they're in the same room, the energy between Guy and Ariel practically sizzles, but they have to keep quiet and not let Ariel know. That doesn't stop them and soon they're falling in love, but the stalker is still out there. To stay safe, Ariel returns to London, but Guy doesn't feel that he can keep her safe an ocean away. There aren't a lot of questions answered, it's more the story of Guy and Ariel's love, but the stalker is still out there and at the end, another clue appears. On to the next book!

The mystery continues!!!! This is about Guy and Ariel. If you have not read the first two books, then you should, as you will understand what is going on with this group. These guys are a team who owns a company, and well, someone is out to get them. The first one was Daniel, then he focused on Ryder, in both instance someone is hurt or killed. They have a detective that honestly hasn't done much of anything. Whoever this person seems to know when to kill someone or make it look like it's one of their own unless it is one of their own. This book is about Guy and unfortunately, there is murder at the beginning and a close call to having a second murder occur with a family member. Ariel is Guy's sister's best friend and a murder mystery writer. The next book will be about Chase and again another murder! When will he be stopped there are two more after Chase which are Brad and Mitch!!!!.

When the stalker strikes again Guy is the one in the hot seat. Everyone is trying to figure out who has this strong of a vendetta against the guys. Officer Carter doesn’t seem to be making any progress in finding the culprit and now there’s another death! This is the 3rd book in the Billion-Dollar Attitudes series and it is the Ariel and Guy's story. This is a great addition to the series, it reads as a standalone, but it is useful to read the books in order so you understand the history of the company's problems better. He’s the co-owner of a major tech company and the most recent interest of the serial stalker and murderer. She’s the his little sister’s best friend, a well known author. They reconnect at a birthday party, run into each other again and end up having dinner together. The characters are as usual well developed and the story is full of ups and downs and angst. I recommend.

A good read. This This is book 3 in this author’s series titled Billion Dollar Attitudes. I’ve read them all and enjoyed them. The owners of a tech company are being stalked and threatened and this story revolves around Guy and Ariel. Ariel is BFF’s with Guy’s sister, Megan. She’s also an author who’s writing a murder mystery. This couple is keeping their relationship a secret because of his sister Megan but when Megan gets hurt, Guy and. Ariel come together for her. Then Ariel leaves the country because of the stalker. Lot’s going on. I don’t want to divulge any more. It’s a good story filled with romance, and mystery and suspense.

You can read this as a standalone but there is a secondary storyline that started in the first book and continues throughout the series. Guy and his friends/business partners have a stalker who has made their lives miserable; murder, kidnapping and sabotage are all part of his playbook. Ariel and Guy know each other, she is his sister Meagan’s best friend. They haven't seen each other in years. They're drawn to each other but is there to many challenges for them to deal with to be together? Steamy, with some suspense. I've really enjoyed this series and can't wait for book four which will be Chase's story.

The main plot, an unknown person or persons committing horrible crimes against this group of friends, is woven throughout these books. So, while Guy and Ariel find their HEA ending, the search continues for the search for the men's nemesis.
This author has a great writing style and her books have complex storylines that will have you reading long into the night.

Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. Although the main story arc still continues, this one focuses on Guy and Ariel which is a best friend's brother/sister's best friend trope. The flow and pacing was okay but to me i felt like some things/action just didn't add up, so that bugged me until the end of the book as it remained unanswered. However there is some suspense and steam that kept me engaged and a sweet HEA epilogue with a peek into the next book which is on Chase and as usual the next person to be targetted by the killer.

This series is making me so curious as to what is going on. Though the book could be a standalone, it makes so much more sense if you’ve been reading since the beginning of the series. In this book. Guy is the target of the unknown psycho, In the midst of this nightmare, Guy re-meets his sister’s best friend Ariel. As they spend more time together, feelings develop but strange things happen and Ariel runs off to London. Undeterred, when she needs him, Guy shows up and convinces her that they are meant to be.

Chase, CEO of Rosedal Technology, has been living under a serial killer stalking his business. The stalker has been focusing his killing spree on Chase and anyone close to him. Ariel goes to visit Megan, Chases, sister. Chase and Ariel end up on a date and find that they are really attracted to each other but with the threat hanging over Chase's life he wants to keep their relationship secret to protect Ariel. This book was so intriguing that I couldn't put it down. Will Chase and Ariel get their HEA together or will the stalker manage to destroy their love. Very enjoyable story.

This is Book 3 in the Billion-Dollar Attitudes Series by this author, and can be read as a standalone. It is an off limits romance, with a touch of mystery and danger, between Ariel and her best friend's older brother, Guy. These likeable characters, the strong connection, the sizzling chemistry, and the unique plot make for an enjoyable read. It is a sweet love story with combustible attraction and frustrating moments. Overall, it has a good dose of drama, intrigue, steam, engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. A good addition to the series.
