This anthology of articles compiled by Mr. von NautHaus and Clifford Thies, and authored by many respected contributors, gives a history of money creation, what the gold standard is, and outlines a system, which Mr. von NautHause contends, will give the central bank of the United States (The Fed) a run for it's money.

I found the articles very informative, and the system that Bernard Advocates as pretty workable. It must be noted however, in practice, physical assets can be seized, and this was the downfall of these competing currency. At least one of the ideas presented in the book, the idea that gold cannot be confiscated, is not accurate. This was the unhinging of the American Liberty Dollar system. The government came in and seized shipments, and stored assets of people using the Liberty Dollar. This is an unfortunate development, but an important one. A hard lessson learned, state power is not to be trusted.
