Charlie Bailey arrived at the Potawatomi Club to enjoy a game of golf and discovers Scottie Bradshaw floating face down in the Club’s Pool. He quickly reacts by diving in and attempting to resuscitate, however, to no avail, Scottie was already dead. After police investigators classifies Scottie’s death as a mere accident, Charlie remains unconvinced and relentlessly looks for evidence to prove otherwise. As his personal investigation continues his prying puts him and his family in harms way, he even considers hiring personal security for his mother since his family was a target.
The book has realistic dialogue that showcases interrogative skills. The climax to the resolution of this murder mystery and thriller will keep readers intrigued as the race through this page turner. A reader will be a part of the journey and take mental noted during Charlies sleuthing since the author uses descriptive language. The plot is well-developed without any lags and the conclusion is not easily guessed. Death at the Potawatomi Club is a fascinating read for true crime and murder mystery readers, and if they are patient, they will be ultimately rewarded with an intriguing read.

A Death at the Potawatomi by Stephen Timbers is a fascinating murder mystery. Potawatomi is a prestigious club for the elite and Charlie Bailey and his friends are the members. One morning when Charlie was visiting the lockers after a game, he finds his family friend Scottie Bradshaw face down. His death is ruled as an accident by authorities as he was a heavy drinker but something about his death doesn't sit right with Charlie. As Charlie sets about to do investigation about the death, he is faced with dangers beyond his imagination and gets entangled with a threat to himself and his loved ones.
I enjoy a good murder mystery and this one exceeded my expectations. The author has done an amazing job in building up the story and the interactions of the characters. It's easy to get absorbed into the thick of the plot as the story keeps evolving which makes you guess the identity of the killer till the end. The suspense was expertly woven throughout the plot which made it highly entertaining. A must read great investigative murder mystery.

An engaging novel full of mystery
Stephen Timbers is the author of this great thriller called "A death at the Potawatomi club", which tells an enthralling and suspenseful story that I couldn't put down.
Charlie Bailey is the protagonist of this twisted mystery. It is set in a prestigious golf club where he spends a weekend playing. To his surprise, the body of Scottie, a family friend, appears in a room.The police starts investigating; Bradley investigates as well.
Since I like thrillers, I dare say that this is one of my favourites. It's a well-developed novel with an excellent detective who delves into the case moving by his personal feelings towards his friend. While I was reading, I could do the research together with him because of the clues and the reasoning he makes. It was an engaging case and I definitely recommend it.

Classic mystery
The death of his best friend at their country club sets off Charlie Bailey's radar like nothing else. Even though the death is ruled as an accident Charlie doesn't believe it, and he sets out to uncover the mystery of what truly happened. Charlie is certainly not a qualified Detective, but this amateur sleuth is going to do his best to figure out what happened to his best friend. I found the characters to be a bit stuffy, however they are set in this country club world so it's natural for them to be like that I suppose. The writing was easy to follow along, and Charlie was a likeable character that it was easy to invest that I'm in to follow his story arc as he uncovered plot point after point until he finally did figure out exactly what happened to his friend. A well-written book that is sure to Delight any true classic mystery fan.

A Death at the Potawatomi Club is a thrilling story written by Stephen Timbers. Only by reading the title, you can tell which kind of book this is. Charlie Bailey enters his Golf Club for a normal session when he discovers a friend, Scott Bradshaw, dead in the locker room pool. Even though it seems to be an accident, he's not satisfied with the police report and he decides to investigate, putting himself and his loved ones in jeopardy.
I enjoyed this book especially because I love the police investigation genre, but also due to an incredible job from the writer, who makes the reader interested till the end, providing a well-developed story mixed with a variety of characters that makes you absorbed by the story and keeps your mind calculating who the real killer is.

“A Death at the Potawatomi Club” is a very interesting novel full of suspense and action. It starts with the gruesome finding of a body in the pool of a prestigious golf club. The death is considered as an accident by the police due to the deceased 's background behavior, he was believed to be problematic and a heavy drinker. The protagonist, a golf player and friend of the wealthy family, is not satisfied with the police 's conclusions and decides to investigate on his own. He doesn’t realize that the more he investigates, the more he is linked to the case.
This is a captivating book, each page invites readers to continue and get deeper into the story. It is very well written and I recommend it.

This novel is filled with suspense, mystery and thrill. Every page that I read kept wrapping me up in even more anticipation for the next page. This book is written by Stephen Timbers; in it you follow Charlie Baily, a member of the Potawatomi Club. Charlie finds his friend Scottie dead in the locker room pool; authorities arrive and close the case citing it as an accident. Charlie isn't satisfied and decides to take the investigation into his own hands, but what he finds shakes him to his core. There are people willing to silence Charlie, his family and even Scottie's family just so that no one investigates the death. This is a wonderful read for people who truly want to solve the mystery along with the protagonist. I loved the mystery and thrill this book kept me in.

This book by author Timbers is basically built by dialogues that have been well-written and developed, leading us to a suspenseful story that revolves around a death that does not seem to be what it looks like. As with most of the suspense stories out there, the storyline
is gripping and tension-filled, though this one does it in an exquisite way and the fact that the characters are well-thought-out makes it a fun page-turner.
I enjoyed every page of this entertaining mystery, it has gripped me right from the very first page. Every hint or trait towards truth kept me hooked to its lines. These types of detective stories are my favorites. I totally recommend it!

The plot is utterly promising; the story is really descriptive and it’s absorbing from the very first pages. The mystery kept me anxious waiting for more all the time.
Throughout the pages, it’s easy to identify the characters’ emotions; this is due to the exceptional writing technique of the author.
The plot twists kept me reading to find out the answers to finally solve the puzzle and every new clue grew the intrigue. To conclude, I have nothing but total admiration for this author, I recommend him without any doubt.

Not satisfied with the investigation carried out by the Police, he decides to investigate on his own, but what he does not know is that by investigating, he is putting himself and his family at risk.
