Everything About Astronauts Vol 2: Fascinating Fun Facts and Trivia about Astronauts for Teens and Adults

You have to be an aficionado to find some of this trivia interesting. A lot of it just seems like filler.
But when it starts dealing with life aboard the ISS it becomes more personal and interesting to those not caught up in the science tech of it all.
Walking in Space is to be in free fall several hundred miles above earth travelling 1000 miles per minute. Talk about vertigo. Going to the bathroom takes extended training and when that isn’t possible the wearing of adult diapers. Learning to pee your drawers is a thing.
Somehow I lack an interest in all the esoteric firsts listed.
Yuri Gagarin appears a likeable lad. He died in a plane crash at 34. Since his space craft lacked a means of landing safely he parachuted to earth upon landing. Given Russia’s vast uninhabited expanses Russian Space Craft land or bounce on the ground, not the ocean. At least one went astray and was found in the arctic surrounded by wolves.
