It is for fiction book summary only
The first reason why we write a book summary is that we want to retain what we read. When we write it out, it helps to remember it better. Also, as we need to write about it, we will read the book more carefully, allowing us to "zero in on the significant parts of the book".
Another reason we need to train ourselves in writing book synopses is that it is a useful skill. It is a learning skill.
When it comes to writing a summary, the writer, as I agree on, suggests that we take the notes while we read.
I am a little bit disappointed that this book mainly deals with the summary writing of fiction books because I am pursuing a book that teaches me how to summarize a nonfiction book. I need to find another more suitable boon to teach me how to write nonfiction book rundowns.
