Players to Men #2

Tout de toi (Players to Men t. 2)

Rate this book
I’m in trouble…
Two impossible males—the rich as sin, Jack Griffin, and Wilbur, the cranky feline—have latched onto me and won’t let go. One is eating me out of my dorm, the other ruins my carefully organized one-night stand for the elusive O.
As tempting as Jack is with his wicked smile and sexy body, my plans for the future don’t include the notorious, former player. Then with a single, smoking kiss, he storms his way into my life with promises of pleasure.
But I’m not the woman for him…even if I wish to be. Our worlds are just too far apart.

One kiss was all it took for me to fall…
And the woman I want glares at me with irritation in her eyes. Because in Rayen Logan’s world, I don’t exist, a fact I intend to change. Her plan to attain her first O has my name on it, and she will be mine in every other way too…as soon as I convince the difficult woman to let me prove that my player days are done.
Nothing will stand in my way of getting what I want—not outside inferences—not even Ray herself.

BREATHLESS left me breathless, but IMPOSSIBLE YOU had me melting into a puddle of goo. Talk about a perfect enemies to lovers scenario! Talk about two people who are pretty much exactly what each other needs!

Nothing like a feisty woman on a mission to satisfy her needs who gets swept up in the tsunami of a man on a mission to be her one and only, especially when she basically ignored his very existence. Ray doesn’t actually date, too much chance for pain, too much else going on in her life, but hey, she is human. She is searching for a little release, one night and adios and it was all planned out…until Jack ruined it for her, or so she thought.

Georgia Lyn Hunter has upped her game and IMPOSSIBLE YOU will up your heart rate as Ray and Jack dance around their feelings. Lots of attitude, snark and heart-melting moments, not to mention the scorching passion that is growing between them. Can Ray let go long enough to believe in what is right in front of her? How can she believe that the player has retired and wants to be the man she needs, forever?

I absolutely loved this one! Brilliant characters that shine like diamonds, they are so well carved out! Dialogue that is priceless, and that darn cat… If you like heat surrounded by a rollercoaster of a fabulous love story, you will love this one! This series just gets better and better!

I received a complimentary copy from Georgia Lyn Hunter! This is my honest and voluntary review.

Chronique de Diana :

https://followthereader2016.wordpress...

Bad boy isn’t do bad!

Georgia Lyn Hunter gives us yet another great read with Impossible You, the second book in her Players to Men series. This time, it’s Jack, that broody, angsty friend of Max’s from Breathless, and Ray, Ila’s sister. Ray’s looking for her first O and Hack is determined to be the one to give it to her and all the other O’s in her future. A nasty manipulative grandmother does her best to ruin everything, but her comeuppance is grin worthy. As always, Hunter’s writing is on point and a joy to read.

I loved Max and Ila story but this one had me in tears!! Jack and Ray's story had me at the very beginning until the very end. Georgia Lyn Hunter's writing is graceful with every stroke of the pen, she builds her story to a blinding array of emotions, laughter, heartache at never begin loved and beautifully written never ending love story!!
Will Jack and Ray get their happily ever after or will Jack's family ruin it for him?

Impossible You

Worth The Wait!! I so enjoyed Ray and Jack's story. The story pulled me in and I actually felt like I was there in the story with them, in the background. This is a good story. Full of family drama, good and bad times, good friends and the ups and downs life throws at you. I love all Georgia's stories and anxiously await the next book to come out. Way to go.

I absolutely adored this story!! It was a phenomenal read that pulled me in from beginning to end. Jack has not had it easy. He has some major issues with his family that have caused problems for him. His grandmother is the worst and it has caused Jack to not have his head on straight. He has some great friends but other than his grandfather he really hasn't had loving relationships. Ray doesn't date. She has walls up around her heart and is not interested in any type of relationship with a man. Her father is a great example of a loving husband but she hasn't really seen too many other men behaving in a way that makes her want to take a risk. She does want to find out what the big "O" is all about. Jack and Ray have known each other for years though they haven't really gotten along within that type. They both have their walls up and are very snarky with each other. I do love their banter back and forth and I especially love it when Jack figures out that he wants her and wants it all with her. I loved the way that Jack worked at showing Ray that he had changed from being a player and that he didn't with just the right amount of pushiness. I absolutely grew attached to this characters within this story. They are very complex and real. This story was easy to dive into and get lost in. I was not ready for the book to be over as I wasn't ready to leave the world that was able to join. The story is just written really, really well. The sex is explicit and blended very well within the story. It was just a part of it and so added to the story.
This is the second book in the series so we have actually met them in the previous book but we get to know them so much better here. We also get to see the couple from the first book in this one quite a bit as well (Ila (Logan) is Ray's sister). With that being said, this can be read as a standalone without any problems. This book takes place 2 years (I believe) after the first one and so while we are connected because of the characters it stands alone. I cannot wait to for more books in this series. They are phenomenal reads.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Amazing read – Completely engrossing!!

The depths of characterizations in this story is phenomenal. Ray is trying to figure out what she will do over the summer before her last year of college. Working at the bar is not ideal, nor provides enough money. Jack, a frequent visitor and best man to her sister’s future husband, has been labeled a player and is not on her “possible” list.

Wedding plans and common spheres of influence have these two constantly running into each other. Jack is being pressured into a “good-for-the-family” marriage but pursues Ray instead.

If you haven’t read #1 in this series, you are truly missing out. Those characters spill into this story, and the main characters here are totally relatable and balance the sparks with humor.

Humorous banter, sexy interplay and story twists to keep you guessing!! I highly recommend!

This was Ray and Jack's story, and I found it more emotional than the last book. Maybe it was because it was a friend's to lovers story. It was all consuming for me. Brilliant in the back and forth. Loved how focused and driven Ray was. And I loved how Jack just decided he has nothing to lose by going for it. Jack...my heart broke for him, but his story was really beautiful. Completely cliche proof, Hunter has created a story that destroys genre standards.

"After the regurgitation of my past, it’d felt as if a severed part of me had been healed, and I could breathe easier. H@@, like sunlight, she warmed the loneliness inside me. She’d given me her unreserved acceptance, despite knowing and seeing some of my #$%&. She’d given me a sense of peace I’d never expected."

These two were just made for each other, and the chemistry was smokin up the page! Jack and Ray were written with what I can only describe as joy and a desperation not to be defined by your past...only your future.

OMG exploding chemistry!!!!!!

Georgia wrote another awesome book. I loved Book 1 the story of Max and Ila and I have to say I was so excited for Book 2. After reading Jack and Ray's story I was not disappointed. They had so much chemistry between them. There was allot of humor, some dark family issues and some very steamy sexy scenes. Jack said he believes he always liked her but was to messed up with his problems that he never really took notice of her. It took years later, some growing up, almost losing his pops and for Ray to go on a one night stand to wake Jack up and notice her. Ray has always put Jack in the Players group and never have him a chance at friends cuz he annoyed her but she later realized she was attracted to him. These two just need a little nudge in the right direction. However they hit some obstacles but as long as they stuck together they could overcome anything. I really enjoyed this and can't wait for the next Players book which I hope will be War's book.....

Jack is heir to the Blackstone-Griffin hotel chain and one of the men known to be in the Player's Club. He lives his life reckless and fast and never sees the same woman twice. Rayen is the sister to Ila who who we met in the first book and stole Max's heart, which just happens to be Jack's best friend. Jack and the gang hang out at the bar Ray works at and generally look out for her. When he learns that his buddy War is fixing her up on a date all best are off and he suddenly can't get enough of Ray. Jack's world is calculating and cold and if Ray isn't careful it will swallow her up. Can the two of them find love and happiness? The characters are written in a manner that draws you in and leaves you fully vested in their future. Jack is the boyfriend you want with his good looks, attentiveness, and willingness to fight the world for what he wants. Ray is everything right in a book heroine. Perfectly constructed together, you will love this steamy drama. I volunteered to read this book.

Breathless, a book I loved, introduced us to the characters we see in this story and that was just such a fantastic clever surprise.Jack and Rayen are so great together - once they recognize their antagonistic banter covered up their desire. It is so true that you can’t judge someone if you don’t really know them. Jack seems to live a life of privilege, but his background is far from perfect. This couple made my heart smile. Jack just broke my heart. He had so many reasons for his out of control behavior. I loved his “dirty, sexy mouth” and the way he protected Ray. And Ray is such a fun, giving old soul.

This story was easy to dive into and get lost in. I was not ready for the book to be over as I wasn't ready to leave the world that was able to join.

I loved Rayen from the first book and in this one, she's more developed as a character and stands her ground, especially with Jack. Although Jack is definitely not a one woman kind of man, he steps up when one of his friends sets Rayen up on a date. I was drawn to the book from the first page and after you're reintroduced to Rayen, you root for both of them, even though from time to time, you think Jack might not be the one for her. But the two of them together spark fire from their first kiss and I couldn't put it down. A wonderful book with memorable characters and an HEA that left me smiling. Highly recommended!!

Worth the wait

What an Amazing read. I Loved watching Jack and Ray come together. It amazes me that Georgia makes even the filthy rich act like normal people with normal Everyday problems. I must admit that halfway through the reading of this story I had to step away for a few days. I think it was my own insecurities in my way but reading about such an all consuming Love that you feel deep in your soul and seeing someone so evil trying to break up that love, left me angry. So yes I stepped away but finished this story early this morning and I must say, it was Awesome!! Thank you Georgia for providing an escape and I look forward to the next Amazing story you write.

Georgia Lyn Hunter's writing has a way of taking my breath away. Her stories are full of emotions which takes the reader on quite a wild ride. Impossible You, the story of Jack and Ray is romance at its finest. Two people butting heads, yet, both finding themselves falling faster than a shooting star. Of course, there's a moment of angst and worry, wondering if their love can withstand a wicked grandmother. But love conquers all.

Jack and Ray

I knew this would be a great book and I was so right. Jack just broke my heart. He had so many reasons for his out of control behavior. I loved his “dirty, sexy mouth” and the way he protected Ray. And Ray is such a fun, giving old soul. She just wanted a “ONS” and an “O” that she had been denied. Nigel is the perfect grandfather. His B of a grandmother is the perfect villainess. This is a great follow up in the Players to Men series.

Looking for an enemies-to-lovers romance that isn't all about the hate? Look no further! Impossible you is a scintillating tale of cat and mouse, with a mouthwatering alpha hero who knows what he wants and isn't afraid to do whatever it takes to get it. And a heroine who finds love in the last place she ever expected to even see it. Jack and Rayen's tale is super sexy with plenty of quote-worthy 'aw' moments. And if you loved Breathless, fear not, some of your favorites are back in a delightful way, lending to the engaging quality of this fabulous contemporary.

➕ : Romance Contemporaine | New Adult |

Note : ⭐️⭐️⭐️,5/5

✨Mon avis :

Another great story by Ms Hunter!!
Finally, we get to read Jack and Ray's story.
Ms Hunter definitely knows how to get her readers mesmerized into her books.
Jack is rich but very misunderstood. Ray is independent but harbors feelings for Jack.
They have been friends but one kiss changed the course of their relationship. Ray sees Jack as a
player but he is anything but that.
I love the banter and humor between the two of them. Ray is trying to fight her feelings for Jack.
Their chemistry is off the charts which Ms Hunter gives you just enough to make you want more.
I love the series and I look forward to reading the next one.

Jack and Ray…WOW, I love them together. This book is a great follow-up to Breathless. Jack and Ray had a lot to go through, before their HEA, which was well deserved. And Oh My, with a Grandmother like that, who needs enemies!!! Although, you can read this book as a standalone, you may want to read the first book. You are introduced to Jack and Ray and it helps the flow of the series. I am looking forward to the next book. Another great read that I highly recommend.
