An I can read book with Dick Bruna's wonderfully stylistic illustrations. Simple Miffy style pictures in those trademark colours of orange, blue, yellow and dark olive green illustrate simple statements such as- this is my mouth....this is my brother....this is my mother and father... culminating in 'I can read'

The part of the illustration that is described in the sentence is coloured to give you some help and there is plenty of repetition. Both my children read this learning to read. It's a nice, simple beginner reader.
