Peyton Emerson; Hollywood starlet and America’s sweetheart. She’s always wondered what it would be like to have Ethan to herself. After a drunken weekend in Vegas, she got the pleasure of finding out firsthand. But being with her comes at a cost. Peyton knows all too well how the paparazzi tear couples apart with their lies.

Still, there’s no denying that their one-night stand sparked something inside of them—a need for one another they can’t quell. Unable to fight their attraction, they work to keep their relationship a secret. Unfortunately, their efforts aren’t enough to keep an enemy from finding out and using that information to manipulate them both. Wanting the Fight returns readers to the Gloves Off Next Generation series for what is the best story to date!!

As Ethan and Peyton who have just witnessed their respective sister and brother marry in Vegas. Have a one-night stand they will never forget! And one that Ethan is desperate to turn into more. But Hollywood starlet Peyton like her mother Gabriella is stubborn, and she's not easily convinced MMA fighter Ethan can withstand the attention she deals with on a daily basis.

But life conspires to bring the pair back together and before long Peyton realises that Ethan could be the man for her. And so a gorgeous romance begins.

However, the threat they and their families and friends face from Nikolai Michelson is far from over and sooner or later he's going to come for them.

But this time they have more to protect than most.

And just as the pair are getting comfortable and enjoying some much needed downtime the games begin. Only someone far more deranged is calling the shots.

And with lives on the line, fantastic pacing, heat and a little suspense. This was a cracking read. That I genuinely devoured in just one morning and it's a story I would enthusiastically recommend to all.

I would also recommend the other books in the Next Generation series. As well as all of the original Gloves Off stories.

Peyton Emerson is a Hollywood Starlett. Ethan Jameson followed in his families footsteps becoming MMA royalty. They were just friends growing up but one steamy night in Vegas would change that. Will Peyton come around to the idea she deserves to be happy even in her personal life? Ethan knows being with Peyton could be complicated but he thinks she’s worth it. Now he just has to convince Peyton. When danger comes around again can he protect Peyton and himself? I enjoyed how the second half of this romance felt like the original fighting series. There’s still sweet moments mixed with suspense and plenty of action. As this does story does follow the previous books it helps to read them in order to know the full backstory but you could probably read as a stand-alone and still understand what’s happening. Told in dual POV

Loved Peyton and Ethan's story we were are glad they stopped playing the cat and mouse game, although we really knew that Ethan was biding his time until Peyton came to her senses.

This story was pretty straight forward, although it was one that you were constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop because in this series every time a couple finds any kind of love and happiness there is a villain in the shadows waiting to take it all away.

This time around, the was more than one villain and all kinds of craziness. Peyton to me kept to her family values and did not let fame and fortune completely change her, and we loved that about her. We loved her and Ethan as a couple, soulmates for sure, and love their chemistry and loved their surprises it was fate saying they belong together.

Ethan was another character that we loved his possessiveness and protectiveness no only toward his friends and family but, for the woman he loved and considering what Peyton did for a living Ethan will be struggling with both of those things for many years to come he is just going to have to keep himself in check.

Overall, we loved the mystery and suspense and Wren as a new character as we don’t think we are done hearing about her just yet as she fits right in with these MMA families. As always, the characters were awesome but, this story was a game changer for this ongoing plot and things are about to heat up even more. The ending was just perfect for this couple, and we can't wait to see what happens yet.

5/5 ⭐
4/5 🌶️

This has been by far my favorite Gloves Off - Next Gen story. It felt faster paced than the previous two. I'm not sure if it was that I enjoyed the story more or if it was just the fact that there wasn't a big need for world building three books in, but I was instantly hooked on Ethan and Peyton's story and almost read it in one sitting. It was exciting from the very start when we find out that they spent Braden and Reagan's wedding night together, all the way through to the climax where we meet the bãdãss Wren (pleaseeee tell me we're getting her story!) and even to the epilogue where these two greet the media for the first time together.

I loved Ethan and Peyton together. The fact that Peyton had a school girl crush on him and he never saw her that way until their first night together was so adorable. He was instantly head over heels for her after seeing her again. I also loved Reagan's little ways to push them together after the wedding. Ethan is such a perfect blend of respectful and alpha, he knows Peyton can handle herself, but needs to protect her all the same. Peyton is a really strong FMC and I loved how she handled herself while at the hands of the villain.

I am so excited to continue this series, I feel like it just keeps getting better, especially as we get to know more and more about each of the Fightanium family members. This one dealt with a lot of Peyton and Braden's parents past and it really made me want to go back and read their stories too.

I received ARCs of the other books in this series and I enjoyed them, so I was looking forward to this book releasing! I then received an ARC of it, so I started reading it straightaway! After reading, I can say that I really enjoyed this book! I wasn’t really sure what to expect from the plot, but it developed at the perfect pace and this book only took me one sitting to read because I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished reading! There was a lot of romance in the plot and it did develop right from the very first page! I loved it a lot and the romance allowed for quite a few steamy scenes as well! There was a lot more action and suspense than I was expecting as well and it went in a direction that I wasn't expecting! Both of these elements added to the plot and made me enjoy it more! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Peyton was the main female character, and in this book she was a famous actress and she had the paparazzi following her and she was in the spotlight! I really liked Peyton and she was down to earth and easy for me to connect with! She also went through a lot in this book, but she was as strong as she could be! Ethan was the main male character and love interest of Peyton! I loved Ethan a lot in this book! He was funny with Peyton and it was easy to see that he had deep feelings for her! Ethan was also protective of Peyton and he supported and kept her as safe as he could! Ethan had also made a name for himself as a fighter and he definitely lived up to it in this book! This book was written from both Peyton and Ethan’s point of views! I was expecting it to be because the other books were written from dual point of view and the synopsis gives the impression that it’s going to be! I loved that it was because it helped me connect more with both characters and see how much they meant to each other! It also allowed for more things to happen in the plot, which helped as Peyton and Ethan didn’t spend every second of the plot together! I now can’t wait to read the next book in this series! I’m not sure who the main characters are going to be because there wasn’t anything at the end of this book to tell me and nothing on Goodreads! I’ll definitely be reading it regardless of who the main characters are going to be and I can't wait to find out more about it! The cover for this book is also absolutely stunning and would definitely draw me to the book! I love how perfectly it matches the covers for the other books and the cover models are the perfect Peyton and Ethan! Big thank you to L.P. Dover for an ARC of Wanting the Fight!

Oh man this is one series that is mindblowing from beginning to the end with love, fights, passion and suspense all rolled into one. Book 3 continues from Emma and Carter's wedding with Peyton and Ethan sharing a night of passion they cannot forget. A night that is making them see what has been missing for a long time. Ethan has had his share of women only because the one he really wants is well unavailable. Being an actress has always been Peyton's thing, yet lately it is making her miss the normalcy in life and her family. She knows these feelings for her best friend won't go easily and oh boy does L.P. Dover throw in many obstacles for these two it's a wonder when they get it on. One thing I love about this series is the men love deeply and one wrong move on their woman and vengeance is a given no one messes with the women in this series. Their passion is hot in this book but L.P. Dover does her best with friendships and secret loves between them. Loved seeing how we see Emma, Carter but glimpses of the parents from the originial series and a couple new characters hopefully a spin of with them. This is one series you got to get if you into this trope of MMA Fighters and how hard they love start with the Glove Off series and get your in with this series.

I seriously LOVE this series, but it wasn't a shock since I'm a big fan of this talented author, not to mention I LOVED the original series about the parents of this generation. Ethan is at the top of his game in the middleweight circuit & can have any woman he wants. Peyton is America's Sweetheart as her acting career has really taken off. They end up hooking up while in Vegas for their siblings wedding, and they agreed to one night. Now, Ethan wasn't down for it after he got a taste, and Peyton wasn't either, however, she knew with her career, relationships are next to impossible so she's the one who tries to keep it to the one night. Of course since each of their families are best friends, they will have to see each other a lot. Things take a turn when Peyton is scared by a stalker, and now Ethan is going to protect her & with the sparks flying, it doesn't take long before they're finally giving in. There is a vicious family enemy out there taking a bite out of anyone they can, and now that it's Peyton & Ethan's turn, well things get dicey with the escalation. It's crazy & nothing I saw coming so the twists definitely knocked me on my a**. So yeah, I've said enough & it's your turn to experience all the exciting chaos for yourselves as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Ethan is a successful MMA fighter and his career is on the rise. While attending a family wedding the sparks between he and Peyton fly but despite their intentions he soon realizes that one night is not enough. When he finds out that Peyton is being threatened, he is determined to protect her from the escalating danger that comes their way.

Peyton is an actress who has seen the effect that being a celebrity can have on a relationship. She is determined to avoid that, so she keeps her relationships casual however that is proving to be more difficult when it comes to Ethan especially when he shows the lengths he will go to so that he can protect their love and their lives.

Ethan and Peyton’s story has it all from the hot chemistry, the suspense, the drama and the captivating characters of Peyton and Ethan as well as their families.

L.P. Dover is back with the next book in her Gloves Off: Next Generation series and y'all this one was a really, really good romance. Dover knows how to write those feels, whew* my heart and allllll the steam and this beauty right here was right in line with that.

Wanting the Fight gives us Peyton and Ethan’s story and what a journey this was. These two were all kinds of addicting in moments and their chemistry? Undeniable and unforgettable at times, in allllll the ways. Packed to the brims with heart, heat, twisty suspense, and all of those pesky up and down emotions they like to give us.. this book hooked me from the very start and didn't let go until the last word.

I can't wait for the next in this series y'all and welllll.. really any next book from her.

I can't recommend this author and series enough.

WANTING THE FIGHT is the third instalment in LP Dover’s contemporary, adult GLOVES OFF: NEXT GENERATION erotic, MMA, romance series-a spin off/next generation from the author’s GLOVES OFF series. This is twenty-seven year old MMA fighter Ethan Jameson, and twenty-three year old actress Peyton Emerson’s story line. WANTING THE FIGHT can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines or series is revealed where necessary. Ethan is the son of Ryley and Ashley (Ryley’s Revenge/Gloves Off 2, and Peyton is the daughter of Paxton and Gabriella (Paxton’s Promise/ Gloves Off 3).

WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Ethan and Peyton) WANTING THE FIGHT continues to focus on demons from the past. Peyton and Ethan were in Las Vegas to attend the wedding of Ethan’s sister Emma to Carter Reynolds (Craving the Fight /Gloves Off: Next Generation 1) but Petyon never expected to wake up the next morning, having spent the night with our story line hero. Pretending their night never happened, Peyton was determined to go home and forget about Ethan but all was not right in the world of the Jameson and Emerson families-the past has returned, taking aim at the next generation, a generation that is paying for the sins of their fathers. Assigning himself as Peyton’s security and bodyguard, our couple will find themselves reliving the h*ll of their parents’ past, a h*ll in which one or both may wind up dead. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Peyton and Ethan, and the potential fall-out as carnage and destruction lie in wait for our story line couple.

The relationship between Ethan and Peyton is a friends to lovers in which ‘what happened in Vegas was about to be revealed for the world to see’. Peyton and Ethan both have plans in their respective careers, careers that are about to be sidelined when vengeance comes knocking. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is another large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters including several members of the Jameson and Emerson families (bot current series and original). WE are introduced to a young fighter Wren Langston. The requisite evil has several familiar names and faces.

WANTING THE FIGHT is a story of vengeance and obsession, madness and mayhem, friendships and family, acceptance and love. The premise is dark, gritty and emotional-some definite anxious and heart pounding moments; the romance is seductive and provocative; the characters are strong, determined and charismatic.

Peyton Emerson is 23 years old and has not followed her parents path of being MMA fighters and has instead become an actress who is gaining more popularity and fans. She has her mom to be her bodyguard and knows every step is being watched which means she isn’t surprised when the press wonders if she got married after a weekend in Vegas. Although she never got married she somehow ended up having a one-night stand with the boy she has had a crush on for over 10 years.

Ethan Jameson followed the family path of being a MMA fighter and although he is being careful due to his family’s past he has been making a ton of money in Vegas fighting. Yet he would drop everything at a moments notice to protect Peyton.

When a fan gets a little too close to Peyton, Ethan knows he needs to step in and do what he can to protect her. But will Ethan be able to keep his feelings at bay when he knows he wants more than just friendship?

This is another great book in the series and although things once again move pretty fast, it’s expected because of the history between everyone.

I liked that Peyton was trying to forge her own path and career and that she had her mom with her every step of the way. Their bond was super tight and I respected that and I loved that she trusted her mom although she was holding some pretty big secrets from her mom regarding the Michelson brothers.

Ethan knew what he wanted and although fighting was extremely important to him, he also was at that point in his life where he knew who was more important. I liked that he temporarily pushed everything aside to be there for Peyton at her movie set after everything that had happened at her place.

There was so much chemistry between the two of them which only exploded after Vegas. I liked that it was both and fast and slow moving as they both knew what they wanted but at the same time they both knew the risks with everything else going on.

The text messages were definitely eerie and I had my guesses on who was behind things. Things went sideways pretty quick and the tie ins between Peyton and her mom, Gabriella, were huge. When we all knew what was going to happen I knew that things were going to get violent fast but at the same time you do know how things are going to work out as we all need that happy ending after everything we learned.

This book was no exception and I liked some of the little things that were done to keep people safe. I also loved what Ethan did for Peyton at the end and then how everyone else was surprised!

Another great book in the series and I look forward to what’s coming next.- Rebecca

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book provided to me. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is the book I have been waiting for. Peyton Emerson is the daughter of Paxton and Gabriella. I have constantly reread Pax and Gabby’s story over and over again. Reading about two people who started as enemies and then lovers. Now onto parents and well soon to be grandparents. This has been one amazing ride and isn’t even over yet!

Ethan Jameson has fought his way through the MMA. Now he has the fight of his life coming up. After having one night with Peyton, Ethan realizes that he wants more with her and is determined to prove they can be together. Though not everyone is happy with Ethan being with Peyton and decides to make things a little difficult for them.

Peyton Emerson might as well be considered America’s Sweetheart as she is a sought-after actress. Constantly on the road working and hardly ever home. One night starts to make her wonder what if’s of having any sort of relationship with Ethan. Deciding to take a chance and take things slow, someone else decides that they need Peyton for a different type of movie. One that has a different ending than the one that was previously written.

Will Peyton and Ethan be able to survive what comes their way or will their relationship crumble?

OMG! This book was everything and more! If there is one book you are going to read this year and you have read Gabby and Pax’s book...YOU WON’T WANT TO MISS THIS ONE! Peyton is very similar to her mother, Gabby. She is stubborn and protective of her heart. Ethan is very similar to his father. He realized that the woman he loved needed all of his attention and dropped certain things to be with her because she is worth it. Ethan is also willing to fight and protect those he loves to the death! The Dark Side is back, but in a different way and I am here for it! I love the new person that seems to have been added to the group. You are going to have to read to find out who it is! I also can’t wait for some future Nana and Poppy scenes!

Don’t miss out on this book! Read this ASAP!

********** Contain Some Spoilers**********

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and it was probably my favourite of the series so far. I’m glad that LP Dover includes a family tree at the start of each book, as even though it’s the third book of the series I still find it a bit hard to keep track of who’s related to who.Peyton is a Hollywood starlet and Ethan is MMA royalty, after following in his father Ryley, his Uncle Camden and the rest of their family’s footsteps. Peyton used to have a little crush on Ethan when she was younger but due to the four year age gap he never noticed her, as four years in your teens seems like a huge age gap whereas as adults it’s nothing.

At their siblings wedding in Vegas they end up sleeping together but Peyton tells Ethan that she wants to keep things between them to just one night, as she’s seen so many Hollywood relationships torn apart and she doesn’t want that to happen to them. It doesn’t take them both to realise that they have real feelings for each other after they can’t stop thinking about them, and are also angry at the other when they didn’t call while Peyton was away in North Carolina filming. When Peyton comes back to California for the holidays they see each other and their spark is undeniably and they admit how they feel.

They decide to keep things on the down low until they’ve been together for awhile before announcing it to the world, as it’ll be a media storm and it can be brutal. The chemistry between Ethan and Peyton was off the charts, as well as hot as hell. This book tied in perfectly with their parents pasts at the Dark Side. All I can say is the bad guy during this book was completely f*cked up. I enjoyed meeting Wren and fingers crossed she gets her own happily ever after in the series, or will they just be keeping it in the “family” lol? I’m really looking forward to reading each of next generation stories as the series continues. LP Dover writes a damn good suspense novel, especially with her underground fighting. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.

This is the story of Peyton who is a Hollywood Starlet and Ethan who is a MMA Fighter at the top of his game. Growing up these two were friends and now grown they have one steamy weekend in Vegas that will change everything for them. She is convinced that she doesn't deserve to be happy and he has a target on his back but knows that being with Peyton is well worth being with. Now he just has the major thing of convincing Peyton. However can he protect Peyton when the time comes? You have to read to find that out. I loved every single second of this book. I loved the characters and the story they had to tell. it is certainly a book you will not be putting down.

Peyton Emerson and Ethan Jameson have always just been friends, but after one night celebrating their friends wedding in Vegas things take a unexpected turn... the naughty kind of turn. Sure they've been attracted to one another for a while, but life took them in different directions and neither had time to pursue anything with the other. Peyton's life is always in the Hollywood spotlight and it often creates problems in her personal relationships, which is usually why she avoids them. But this thing with Ethan cannot be easily forgotten, one night with him just isn't enough...

Wanting the Fight brings us into the lives of Ethan and Peyton, two friends who get a little carried away in Vegas and take their friendship to a whole new level. Now they find themselves in limbo, both have busy demanding lives that aren't necessarily conducive to a relationship, but their hearts are encouraging to give this thing between them a chance. And that is not the only issue they have to deal with, there are also outside forces threatening to keep them apart. Will their love for one another be enough to hold them together? Or will they have to say goodbye?

I absolutely loved what I found waiting for me between the pages here, this is by far my favorite of the series. These two were perfect for one another, their love brought peace to their chaotic lives, and gave them something they both needed, a sense of stability... a partner in crime. I was floating on feels the whole way through on this one, these two really brough it all to the pages!! If you like sports romances that center around MMA, then I highly suggest you take a chance on this series, I guarantee you'll fall for it's characters the moment they wander onto the page!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.

Action-packed, unpredictable, original, page-turner, entertaining, steamy, wonderful characters, HEA

We were safe. We were free. I could finally breathe.

I received a free advance reader copy and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is the first time I’ve read one of L.P. Dover’s works. And while this is part of a series, the author provides enough backstory that it was easy to follow. Although because I enjoyed this book so much, I plan on reading the first book in this series as well.

The chemistry between Ethan and Peyton is absolutely steamy. They are both famous and completely normal in spite of their fame. They have also been in love with each other for years. However beyond that, their story is fantastic. It is amazing, stressful, intense, and unpredictable.

Unfortunately, old family issues and the constant threat of the overly zealous paparazzi are what continues keeps Ethan and Peyton apart. In spite of Peyton’s fear of the media tearing them apart, they decide to go forward with their relationship. In secret, they believe they are outsmarting not only the media, but also the enemy who wants their family and friends to suffer.

Wanting the Fight is an amazing journey with the characters L.P. Dover has created. They include incredibly strong alpha males who love their fierce women unconditionally. The tension and the suspense continues to build throughout. I am thrilled that Ethan and Peyton were able to remain resilient even when separated. The love for each other and their family is elemental to who they are together. This is especially important when they are faced with an unimaginable horror.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, which I read as a standalone. I liked the characters and the connection they shared the romance was beautiful. And the suspense and drama were just enough to keep you on the edge of your seat and hoping that it's all OK.

I totally loved Peyton and Ethan. I loved Ethan's protective nature and the way he was. And although Peyton was a famous actress she was so down-to-earth and normal. The attraction and feelings they have for each other are totally undeniable. Now, this review is vague but it needs to be. No spoilers will come from me.

I totally recommend this book and I will definitely be going back to read the rest of the books.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first as they are the first generation of this series:
A Fighter's Desire: Part One (Gloves Off, #0.5)
A Fighter's Desire: Part Two (Gloves Off, #0.6)
Tyler's Undoing (Gloves Off, #1)
Ryley's Revenge (Gloves Off, #2)
Paxton's Promise (Gloves Off, #3)
Camden's Redemption (Gloves Off, #4)
Winter Kiss (Gloves Off, #4.5)
Kyle's Return (Gloves Off, #5)
Craving the Fight (Gloves Off: Next Generation #1)
Taking the Fight (Gloves Off: Next Generation #2)

This is Peyton and Ethan’s story. Ethan is a fighter that has it all. He knows the more he is in the fighting circuit the more he has to look over his shoulder as he knows that danger will come for him one day. The dragon tattoo he has makes him a huge target and Nikolai will one day want vengeance. He has one night with Peyton and that changes the course of his life. He knows he will do anything to have more then one night with her. A secret relationship is what they decide but seems that danger is coming, and it knows all about that secret. They have to go with what danger wants or more people will get hurt. Can they get past the danger and have each other or will they both lose everything?

I highly recommend this book.

I loved this story and felt it had two sides to it. The first was the absolutely beautiful romance built up between Peyton and Ethan, a quick and dirty vegas start led to a more thoughtful and deep relationship being built in the pages of the book.

Of course we wouldn’t be in the gloves off series if there weren’t also some deeply dark underground fighting going on and this is indeed quite dark and brings up a lot from the first generation gloves off series. (Not that you need to have read it - I haven’t yet and didn’t feel there were yawning gaps here for me)

Both stories were entwined beautifully and I loved these characters. Ethan is so much deeper than you might envisage given his lifestyle and previous life choices…he is surprisingly self aware of how much he needs and wants to change to be the man Peyton needs (and deserves)
Peyton is such a strong character (despite her age) and her maturity and acceptance of her life, choices and depth of feelings is lovely to read.

A lovely love story beginning to end, as well as a deeper storyline (with hints of pairings to come) and introducing new characters too, this book more than delivers.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Wanting the Fight is intense. Wanting the fight has so much that was not expected. This is one of those books that I had to actually shutdown the Kindle and take deep breaths. This in one of those books that I was tempted, so so tempted, to skip to the end. The drama was making my stomach turn. If Wanting the Fight was a movie I would have been the one covering my eyes and just doing a little peek every now and then.

L.P. Dover used her words to make evil ooze off of the pages. Some of her "evil" characters gave me the creeps. Actually, they gave me the hebbie-jebbies. Evil became addictive. I was counting down the pages until they got what the deserved. I swear, I even hit the freezer for ice cream to brighten my day. Comfort food to the rescue.

I love that I didn't see things coming. I was blown away by the plot line. I didn't see so much of what happens coming. I was dragged into the story. I became so invested in Ethan and Peyton and there was no way I was putting it down until they got their happily ever after.

If you love to read books that give you the unexpected, you need to grab Wanting the Fight.

The third book in this next gen series continues the story aarc of the younger generation fighting fr their freedom--literally. BUt this one was a nice step away from reality for awhile.

Ethan and Peyton have known each other a lltheir lives. Their parents are best friends. Their siblings are married to each other. They finally act on their attractions--supposedly a one night stand but as Ethan rushes to protect Peyton from an unknown assailant, hr realized he has more feelings for her than the one night allowed. They decide to lay low and take some time to get to know each other.

I loved that they were open with their feelings and trusted each other so much.. But the bd guys keep coming and these two are in a battle for survival before they can have their HEA. Great suspense, great steam. Lots of heart in this one. Loved seeing allt he parents and siblings coming together. Wonderful support all around for this relationship.

I am looking forward to reading more of this group of family and friends.

*I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Wanting the Fight by L.P. Dover.
You guys can you believe we are already on the third book in this great series. We are on book three and we are getting Peyton and Ethan’s journey. If you read the Gloves Off series then you know that Payton is Paxton and Gabby’s daughter so I love that connection and that Ethan is Ryley & Ashleigh’s son. So to get to read their kids story now was definitely a treat. To see the similarities between Payton and her mom and between Ethan and his father was awesome. Peyton and Ethan’s will have you hooked from the beginning. The way they have this super strong connection and attraction. Which they have been fighting for a long time. That is until the night in Vegas. Oh now you’re interested in knowing what happened in Vegas right trust me you must grab this book to read and find out. You won’t want to miss out because the chemistry is scorching. Oh and the way the author writes the development of their feelings and journey is perfectly written and so palpable. Oh and the suspense we get thrown in there will have you reading page after page to see what happens next. It’s a book you can’t miss. Highly recommend.

Though I haven't read the first gen series, this was a great introduction for me to this tight knit MMA family. This story follows Ethan and Peyton and has plenty of action, steam, and is a great friends to lovers story. I love how Peyton's always had a crush on Ethan and how she loved him because he was different from the movie star guys she's used to. He's protective, rough around the edges, and he really wants Peyton too. Their decision to just make keep their relationship to one night certainly won't last.

Ethan's surprised that a woman like Peyton would want him, but he loves her passion and he's just beginning to see her as a woman instead of just a family friend. When Peyton has to go back to Hollywood for her movie premiere, Ethan is task with taking care of her because of her popularity.

There was some great suspense and romance in this story. Ethan and Peyton were great together, and I loved their friends to lovers story! Looking forward to more from this author!

Ethan & Peyton 💚

Vegas "one night stand" with your bestfriends brother/brothers bestfriend/childhood crush.

Forced proximity when she becomes her "bodyguard."

The chemistry and tension is there from the start and it only gets hotter as we go! And I love when they finally confront their feelings and give it their all!

I think I swooned everytime Ethan told Peyton how he wants their relationship to work and he'd do anything to be with her! 🥰🥰 this man!! Which it doesn't surprise me because Ryley was one of my favorites out of the OGs! 🥵🤤

I loved that while yes it was a rollercoaster ride of a book, as far as their relationship goes they stayed pretty much on course and only grew!

Wanting The Fight is probably my favorite out of the series so far. They just get better and better with each book. Just like the OGs did!

Talk about unexpected. My goodness ‘Wanting The Fight” was something I didn’t see coming. The twists, the turns, the mysteriousness, and the unholy suspense had me on the edge of my seat.

‘Wanting The Fight’ was an original with an amazing plot. I can honestly say, I’ve never read something similar. I love how family oriented this book is, and (assuming) kind of interconnects with previous books. In my opinion, it brought the depth to another level.

I’m obsessed with these characters and their families. Peyton and Ethan were made for each other. I loved how they handled themselves and wasn’t afraid of their feelings. It showed a maturity that I definitely appreciate.

This book is a nail biter that would make one heck of a movie. I really enjoyed it.

I throughly enjoyed this book, which I read as a standalone. I liked the characters and the connection they shared the romance was beautiful. And the suspense and drama was just enough to keep you on the edge of your seat and hoping that it's all OK.

I totally loved Peyton and Ethan. I loved Ethans protective nature and the way he was. And although Peyton was a famous actress she was so down to earth and normal. The attraction and feelings they have for each other is totally undeniable. Now this review is vague but it needs to be. No spoilers will come from me.

I totally recommend this book and I will definitely be going back to read the rest of the books.

Wanting the Fight is Ethan and Peyton's story. Nikolai is waiting to take his revenge on every one of the 2nd gen of MMA Fighters and this book is a well paced and exciting delve into the games awaiting this newly formed couple.

Ethan and Peyton are 4 years apart in age and have never been in the same place at the right time to try a relationship. That is until they attend a wedding in Vegas and have a heated one nighter (with consequences). Both realise pretty quickly that they want more than 1 night and give in to their attraction.

This is an exciting story filled with threat and secrecy. I loved that the leads get the chance to find their feet together away from the spotlight and their families. Ethan is in deep and follows his heart to capture Peyton. He is adorable, strong and protective.

In the context of the series this book moves on the revenge plot and you feel a sense of the impending threat for all the characters.

This is the third book in this incredible series, and this is Ethan and Peyton’s journey. Ethan is MMA royalty, and is a fighter in the middleweight circuit, while Peyton is a Hollywood sweetheart. These two connect when they are in Vegas for their siblings wedding, and they have a drunken one-night stand. Ethan and Peyton keep their relationship a secret, but when they are faced with an enemy, will Ethan be able to keep Peyton safe and protected? This is a beautifully written story which is fast paced, with twists, revenge, tension, family, friendships, action, danger, suspense, intrigue, humor, witty banter, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
