Illustration is cute but repetitive and of course Degas’s paintings arelovely, but the close ups are pointless and the text was not informative at all. The author did little to no research and basically asks the young reader to imagine on every page, which I’m sure young readers naturally do. The rest of the books in the series have been better and more educational, but are still appropriate for toddlers and early readers.
