This is a great short little intro book into the world of parenting. It was exactly what I was looking for and great if you’re not looking to dive too deep into parenting. I didn’t agree with all the suggested methods but the overall theme was mindful parenting which I do agree with.
I find it frustrating that I bought this without doing a better job at researching the author - who has no academic background in parenting. I don’t think you must have that background, but it’s frustrating to read a book with typos and not exactly a bibliography with peer reviewed journals as sources of info by someone who doesn’t have education in this.
I mean, I got it because I wanted to learn about parenting. It’s important. I need it to be good.
It’s a basic read with info you could get in any other gentle parenting book or book on attachment.
I’m sorry to the author, but I just wish I never spent my $10 on this.
Good parenting book which educate you an adult how to discipline the young ones and what you have to do first yourself so that they can behave. The change has to start from you.
