This is an amazing book. The first four chapters are crystal clear but for some reason the fifth chapter abandons the style of the first four and becomes slightly murky: Steps are skipped without indicating a missing piece (a note like "(why?)" would help, for example). New symbols and notations appearing at some point with explanation given only later. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning or teaching operator algebras.
