This is the 4th book in this series, and this is Jayden and Bella’s journey. Bella fled from her life years ago and is now working as a trauma nurse at the local hospital, which is a stressful job, and she finds a Seal’s bar which she chooses to frequent so she can regroup and unwind. Jayden / Jedi is the youngest Navy Seal to reach tier six, which has its advantages and disadvantages. Jayden offers a no stings, no feeling, and no drama relationship to Bella, which she agrees to. What will happen when feeling change to more? This is a well written story which is fast paced, action packed, and with secrets, suspense, intrigue, danger, age gap, and love, which leads to a riveting and addictive page turner.

Bella is trying to keep one step ahead of her past and has created a new life for herself far away from the people and the situation. As rewarding as her job was it can also be challenging and where better to relax and feel safe then a pub frequented by Navy SEALs.
Due to the responsibilities of his job Jedi doesn’t have a lot in common with women his age. When he sees Bella at the bar the sparks fly and he willing to be patient when it came to their relationship until her past catches up to her and there is nothing he won’t do to reclaim the woman who has stolen his heart.
Neither Bella nor Jedi were looking for a relationship, but some things are meant to be as they take us on an adventured filled with action, hot chemistry and great characters.

This grabbed me from the minute i started reading, Bella's past is a traumatic one and we understand fully what she has gone through and why she is always looking over her shoulder.
When she goes to Suds After Bud/s bar to unwind where she feels safe because its the local hangout for Navy Seals she never expects to meet someone like Jayden let alone have someone years younger than her pay her attention and desire her!
Her life starts to re-align and life feels "all shiny and new'' again but not for long....
Massive plot twist...
I loved Bella and Jayden's story, i was fully engrossed in this and love a HEA!

The chemistry between Bella Rayne and Jayden is explosive from the start. They see each other from afar and are drawn to each other like moths to a flame, get to know each other and fall head over heels in love, although neither wants a commitment, Bella Jayne because of her abusive past and Jayden because he is a Navy SEAL.
Their story is a whirlwind romance and so fast-paced that I felt breathless all the time. The plot is twisted and suspenseful, so I was captivated from the first to the last page and rooting along.
This is a great addition to this phenomenal series by the master of military fiction, Ms. Klide. No one writes sexier, more badass SEAL novels than she does.

Jayden 'Jedi' Evans is the youngest and newest member of his team. Talk about swoon worthy. He is every woman’s dream.

This is a sexy age gap love story. A quick read that has a little bit of everything.

Bella is always careful and looking over her shoulder, she doesn’t want to be found. When she moves, she makes sure that it’s safe, it’s where there are a lot of navy seals.

I was pleasantly surprised with my first Jessika Klide short novel. She packs a punch in a short, but sexy hot romantic suspense.
Bella Rayne Parker has lived a new and quiet life under a new name after her harrowing escape from an evil and dangerous man many years ago. Then one night she meets a cocky young Navy SEAL who shows her a good time and a new outlook on life. Two rules: Remember he is a Navy SEAL and he's not like her ex.
Jayden "Jedi" Evans is the youngest recruit on SEAL Team 6, but what he lacks in age, he makes up for in confidence and persistence. Enter the lonely and gorgeous cougar who agrees to stay frosty with their relationship, but her self-assurance and grit intrigue him beyond anyone else. When things go wrong, he fights to bring her back safe.
Ms. Klide does an excellent job moving this short story along at a fast pace with great character development. Bella is resourceful and courageous as she flees an evil man, changes her name, and becomes a trauma nurse. I like that this smart woman chooses to go to a bar filled with Navy SEALS. What better place to feel safe from a dangerous man? I'm also a fan of older women/younger men tropes, and this one fits the bill. Jayden is a perceptive young man who knows what he wants. His protectiveness and attentiveness to Bella is refreshing and so hot. Throw in a kidnapping, a Navy SEAL rescue, and a happy ending and it had me hooked.
If you love fast-paced, action-packed, intriguing, age-gap romantic suspense, pick up this book. I can't wait to read the rest of this series.

Bella Rayne has been in hiding for years running away from Texas to San Diego. What safer place to hide than the home of the Navy SEALS?
She changed her name and was able to train as a trauma nurse and loved her job, but on days like today she was in her favorite place to relieve stress...a barstool at Suds After BUD/S bar.
She looks up when she hears the celebration at the pool table. Who could blame her they were all flat out gorgeous. Most looked to be around her age, but the one they kept calling FNG didn't look old enough to serve let alone be a SEAL.
The bartender, Mick made the comment 'oh, to be twenty-one again' she told him she would have avoided men and focused totally on her career. Maybe then she would have avoided evil.
The next thing she knows the youngest SEAL is sitting next to her and manages a move that has her between his legs and before she realizes what has happened she is being serenaded by a bunch of SEALs as if they were in Top Gun.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This book has all the feels. It may be a short story, but it is full of action, suspense and danger that will have you turning the pages.
This is a reverse age-gap romance. Bella is struck by Jedi's charm and throws off her reservations and decides that having a one-night stand with a younger man might be just what she needs. Especially one who is as good-looking as he is.
Jedi is always up for a good time, but Bella makes him start thinking about things he's never thought about before...like relationships.

He does prefer an older woman, one with experience and more likely to be able to handle his long-term deployments. He is on the right side of confident and persistent rather than arrogant and giving unwanted attention.
With Jedi Bella only has to remember two things: 1 - He's a SEAL and 2- He's not her ex.
This may be shorter than the average story but it's full of heart and character. Bella is no damsel in distress sitting around waiting for rescue, she'll save herself all whilst knowing that Jedi will always come for her. Jedi may be young in years but he has a wise head on young shoulders. He knows instantly that Bella is in trouble and won't stop until he's found her.
The age-gap is not huge and it certainly helps that there was no hint of a power shift in either direction. Both Jedi and Bella are strong and independent and capable of knowing if the relationship was one-sided. Was the relationship fast and furious? You betcha. Did that put me off? Heck no! Deals with some major storylines in a well-structured and delicately handled story.

This book is part of the Born to Fight Task Force Series. I have read one other book in this series and loved it. I loved this one too. This book was a fast-paced quick read. Bella and Jedi meet at a bar SEALS frequent. Bella is older than Jedi and at first doesn’t believe they could have anything more than a few rolls in the hay. Jedi knows right away that he wants more from her. But he will go at her pace. Bella has a past she is running from. An ex who took advantage of her age and naivety. Once she discovered who he really was she ran. But now he is back for her. Will Jedi be able to rescue her or will her ex get what he wants? Bella and Jedi just click. He comes off cocky and full of himself. But he shows a different side of himself to Bella. He shows that he cares and isn’t in just for the sex. I look forward to reading more in this series in the future. As well as more books by Jessika. Great job.

I will say I totally loved this story. The writing and the storyline just hook you from the first moment that Bella steps into Suds after BUD/s. Bella escaped from a horrible relationship and is now doing what she loves. She goes to the bar to have some peace and alone time. It's one place where she feels safe and secure. When a hot shot Seal captures her attention she figures why not have a little fun. Jayden a.k.a. Jedi has clocked the beautiful woman coming in the door. He knows what he wants and it's her. When these two meet and it's such a beautiful union. Now they know what it feels like to belong. But when Jedi has to go on a mission they will have to see if they can make it. What neither of them realized was the devil was lying in wait and now Jayden will have to do whatever it takes to save her before it's too late.

Jayden Evans, AKA "Jedi" was the youngest SEAL to make SEAL Team 6 and was with teammates when first noticed an older woman who had stopped into the SEAL bar called Suds After Buds. Bella Raine went to this watering hole because she felt safe there...but when Jedi noticed her and made an offer for them to get to know each other better, she accepts...but he's not into one-nights and actually pays attention when she talks and wants to get to know her better...although she's been on the run from a former boyfriend who was running a trafficking ring...keeps seeing Jedi, but will her past catch up??? You will need to read this story to see what happens...I voluntarily read this book through an Advanced Reader Copy.

This was really great. Bella Rayne, a trauma nurse is on the run from an abusive ex and had been safe, until she isn't. She meets Jayden, a Navy Seal and he makes her happy.
Danger, drama, romantic and steamy this book had it all. I loved the reverse age gap, and the acceptance between the two. Jayden was more mature than his years and Bella needed to accept she is but a number. They really feel in to a loving relationship that was supposed to be no strings attached but quickly changed.
I really enjoyed this book and look forward to more in the series.

I went back and forth on this review. Overall, I loved the idea of the story, the age gap, older woman, suspense, that hint of danger... all that together worked well. This is a very quick read, with an insta connection, and tons of fire from the beginning between Bella Rayne and Jayden. My heart felt for Bella Rayne, her past and what she's been through. I'd have loved to see more of the suspense side of the story, to dig in more to her history and even more depth to Jayden. For a very short read, it works with the time that was given.

I truly enjoyed this cougar romance, Jayden was clearly younger, but definitely mature. And once he broke through Bella’s barriers he was able to convince her to give him a chance even if it was only sex.
They clearly have chemistry, the story has sensuality to it, not just sex, and of course since it’s a SEAL romance there has to be some drama.
Jayden engages with Cock Blockers to get Bella back from the cartel, but Bella is also responsible for her own escape.
This is a great dramatic insta-lust to love romance.

This is the first book I've read by the author and I quite enjoyed it. The blurb caught my eye but reading it is even better. Though it's just a quick read, you can still feel all the feelings and emotions between Bella and Jedi. It's very gripping, I read it in just one sitting. I enjoyed this reverse age-gap story.

Stay Frosty is the fourth book in this series. In this book, we get to read about Bella and Jayden. Their relationship is dynamite from the very beginning. This story will captivate its audience from the very beginning. Between the suspense and the spice, it's quite easy to binge this amazing novella, I promise you won't be bored with this one.

Easy to read, action-packed, entertaining story of a Navy Seal's relationship with an abused cougar. Relationships, abusive natures, trafficking especially women, cartels and Navy seals are all a part of this book. This is Jayden "Jedi" and Bella Rayne's story.

This was a quick read and really just got to the point these two got hot and fierce really quick. Jedi and bella get two know each other really well after there first encounter. These two have a quick relationship but it really worked for them. They make it thru the worst and over come alot.
