Fred the dinosaur loves sitting alone indoors watching TV and playing computer games. Can his friends persuade him to come outside and join in the fun? A QR code on the back cover provides a link to a clear audio reading of the story.
Russell Punter was born in Bedfordshire, England. From an early age he enjoyed writing and illustrating his own stories. He trained as a graphic designer at art college in West Sussex before entering the world of publishing. He has written over one hundred books for children of all ages, ranging from original stories to adaptations of classic novels.
Fred the dinosaur did not want to play outside with his friends. Instead, he played video games and watched TV. When he finally saw on social media that his friends were having a great time outside, he realized how out of shape he was from doing nothing. Then something surprising and brave happened when he got outside to get his body strong. Fabulous illustrations.
I learnt that if you just stay indoors and you play games and all that stuff, your eyes might hurt so it is good to play outside and exercise like playing soccer, cycling, swimming, etc. It makes stronger so that you can also save some people if they need help.
