While there are various titles that Author & Poet, Michael Lee Womack, could be remembered by when the story of his life on Earth ends, he aims for others to know him as a humble and faithful servant of the Lord. In 2021, he completed his Bachelor’s in English through Thomas Edison State University, by whom he was awarded The Arnold Fletcher Award in recognition of outstanding academic achievement. He currently resides in his home state of North Carolina, where he aspires to one day become an English teacher.

This collection of poetry is swimming in encouragement and hope. The author has woven scripture throughout his work and the desire to help give lift to others shines through each poem.
The easy to understand style makes this collection and the poems it contains assemble to all readers.
The themes throughout are hope in the midst of depression and darkness. The saving work of Jesus and how he gives purpose back to a broken world.
"Just Like The First Two Bricks" is my favorite poem out of the bunch. Lovely read.

From "Gloom to Glory: We Were Meant to Persevere" was a wonderful read. This poetry book held my attention all the way through. And I read it in two sittings because it was so encouraging.
If poetry is too long, I get bored. If it's too deep, I get lost. Michael Womack's poetry is just right.

Excellent poetry that uplifts the spirit and is encouraging and inspiring
I loved reading the heartfelt poetic prose of this talented author. I related to many of them. I liked how scripture verses were interspersed with the poem. I had not seen this before. It added more meaning and brought to life the poem's message. This book is a wealth of spiritual refreshment and I look forward to reading more books by this author. I highly recommend.
