Quick read for a parent out there looking to understand how the mind works of a child with ADHD. It was a I testing, kept my attention and I learned a lot through the pages. There are strategies discussed in the book but I am not a title aware of the credentials of the author to make such claims.
This book is absolutely a must have for anyone who is part of an ADHD child. As an educator I’ve found myself in this position many times. The child is not the problem, not being educated on the condition is. This is a very interesting, informative and complete volume that would be instrumental to parents, teachers and other people who are involved in a daily life of an ADHD child. Extremely well written. I absolutely highly recommended this amazing treasure.
This was a very informative and insightful book that I would recommend to parents even if their child doesn’t have ADHD. While it does go into some of the neurological aspects of ADHD and the what’s and why’s, I feel like this would be beneficial even if your child displays some behavioral problems but not categorically classified or diagnosed. It’s a quick read/listen and may just have some affirming topics that resonate with you regarding your child’s behaviors.
