The basis for the mystery of time/light/life is ch'i. All fine well and good. The basis for unhappiness and evilness in people is ch'is propensity to create virtual presences. Therefore, do not confuse your virtual presences with the Real and offer to your neighbor their full measure of ch'i.
I've had this book for years and just read the synoptic text. It is very dense and a little didactic, though the author excuses himself by labeling it all as musing.
