This book serves as an excellent guide and introduction to Macro dieting. It’s chapters are well sourced with authoritative citations, and the last half is filled with delicious recipes.
Michael gives a clear and easily understood background to why macro counting works. The recipes I have tried are flavourful and easy to prepare - essential for me as a full time worker, mother and owner of a large property.
Would recommend to anyone starting out on their own macro journey.

Smith’s book provides everything you need to get started from a complete guide to protein, carbohydrates and fats and how much of each are needed along with recipes that includes pictures of breakfast lunch, dinner, desserts and snacks along with macro-balanced meal plans to get you started. Overall, I can’t say enough about this wonderful book because there is so much more included in it!
