Captain Jed Grisham and his crew thought they’d escaped the Ax’Kol warship Gholaxas. They were wrong, and now the enemy vessel is in pursuit of the Voltran.

At first, Grisham has no idea how the Ax’Kol are able to track his warship through lightspeed, but as time goes on, he begins to think that perhaps his own nascent telepathic powers are acting like a beacon.

As Grisham does his best to evade the Gholaxas, he finds himself drawn to a mysterious artifact – the Andos - on a long-dead world. This artifact points the way to something unknown, located far from the planet on which he finds it.

Unfortunately for Grisham, the Ax’Kol want the Andos too, and they also want to know what the artifact has been hiding for so many millions of years.

On this mission, the Gholaxas will be the least of Grisham’s worries. The enemy have far more potent vessels in their fleet, as he will soon find out. The pursuit will be relentless.

As ever, the stakes are high. The Ax’Kol have located the first Human Federation world and it’s only a matter of time before their fleets arrive. The lives of fifty billion people hang in the balance.

The Andos Vector is the fifth book in the Guns of the Federation series by Anthony James and follows the events in Darkness on Sagitol. Expect plenty of action, exciting tech, space combat, bad aliens, telepathic warships, and much more.

Anthony James spent his youth reading what might now be called classic sci-fi and fantasy books. These days, he spends time in his study with the door locked against rampant and ferocious toddlers, writing books of his own.

That's the third person stuff out of the way.

For anyone who's read any of my books, you'll know that I write action science fiction that pulls no punches and which doesn't cram the good stuff into the last couple of chapters. The action starts early and it doesn't let up. I also take care to mix in plenty of humanity. The characters I write are all distinctly believable, often facing uncaring enemies and overwhelming odds. When they win, it's because they did their best.

Go on. Punch an alien today. Better yet, check out my series of books, each one filled with action, technology, warfare, aliens and against-the-odds survival. Lots of kick-back-and-enjoy weekend or evening reading.

So good

Early in this book is a line "a man who lived only for combat was a man who’d find death far sooner than he might like."  Grisham was responsible for the demise of Danner and now they are hoping for the alliance with the Kijol to proceed.  Sitting restless awaiting new orders he seems to wonder if he can manage his crave for the excitement of battle.  They have been fighting for peace but what will the crew do if they achieve it?

Another good story and the ending leaves you want more.

Attack of the soul Stealers.

World's in peril, alien controlled zombies and space battles.
Great characters with realistic situations and lots of action.
I look forward to the next one.
