I had completely forgotten that I had read this previously and my original review only gave it two stars so I guess I was not impressed first time. I imagine that on first reading I may have decided it was too self-consciously humourous and rather pointless, being nothing more than a list of ideas to make money in the modern world, most of them rather outlandish.

However on this second reading, I found myself in two minds as to how seriously it was meant to be taken. Rather worryingly, I now find some of the ideas quite feasible - a mirror linked to the internet so you can get an instant verdict on your look? Ego billboards? Virtual DJs? A few I even found myself thinking already existed in a milder form. I suppose this shows that, if nothing else, the authors are very aware of how the modern world works and the modern mind thinks.
