This book was a gentle way to introduce the impact of trash in the ocean to little ones. I appreciated its presentation and my littles were engaged throughout the entire story. Happy to add it to our nursery shelves!

خوب بود و تصویرسازی رو هم دوست داشتم.
نویسنده می‌گه ایده رو از اینجا گرفته که موقع دیدن فیلم سیاره‌ی آبی، پسربچه‌ش نتونسته ماهی‌ها و بطری‌های پلاستیکی رو از هم تشخیص بده. ولی در همین حد ایده‌ی اولیه رو پیاده کرده بود و دیگه اون‌قدر به داستان نپرداخته بود که به‌جای یک صفحه توضیح و توصیه‌ی انتهای کتاب، بتونه پیامش رو در خود داستان بگنجونه.

Another eco friendly story. It reminds us that the creatures of the sea don't know what plastic is and all the bothers that that can cause them and the ocean biome. A good one to read during clean up Australia and schools weeks so that it is front of mind for students that they can make a difference.

ماهی های توی رودخونه، یه ماهی عجیب میبینن و فکر میکنن که این ماهی عجیب دنبال خونوادش میگرده، پس همراهیش میکنن تا بتونه اونا رو پیدا کنه ..
این ماهی عجیب، در واقع یه بطری پلاستیکه :))
موجودات زیر آب قدرت تشخیص زباله ها رو از باقی موجودات ندارن و به همین خاطره که کلی از اونا رو به جای غذا میخورن و میمیرن!!
نویسنده هم سعی داشت به همین مطلب اشاره کنه..

Writers Naomi Jones and James Jones wrote and illustrated The Odd Fish: An Eco-Adventure Story about Plastic in the Ocean. The book is about a Little Fish. The Little Fish leads her school of fish to search for the family and the school of a plastic bottle she finds floating in the ocean. The Little Fish believes that the plastic bottle is a fish. The Little Fish leads her school of fish on an adventure similar to the one in Finding Nemo (2003). The illustrations are colorful and very lively. The side characters often have ideas that are expressed by side characters, such as other fish in the Little Fish’s school or a red crab. Noami Jones and James Jones hope to educate children and adult readers about the issue of plastic pollution in the ocean. The book appears to be set in a tropical ocean, but Naomi Jones and James Jones actually live in Cornwall, Great Britain. They often take their sons to pick up plastic on the beaches in Cornwall. The book contains tips to reduce litter on the beaches and, by extension, plastic in the ocean. This section contains websites for further research. The Odd Fish is an enjoyable introduction to the issue of plastic pollution in the oceans.
