HERE COMES SPRING...AND SUMMER AND FALL AND WINTER is an adorable little book that features a momma dog and her pup enjoying the four seasons.

The artwork is very bright and cheerful, and the artist didn't loose the 'dogginess' of the characters when having them play in leaves, or taking a nap. Honestly, so cute. In one scene mom is gardening and junior is digging a hole.

The text is large and the sentences are small. The font is more curvy than most books kindergarteners are likely to have come across, but still very readable.

With color from edge to edge and dogs! having so much fun, this is a good book to share. There's no heavy science but there are apple blossoms and the sun 'high in the sky', apple picking and crunchy leaves. The science isn't obvious, so adults may have to point out what they would like children to learn.

Cute illustrations of mother dog and baby dog but the story line is weak because it has the reader rushing through the seasons without much explanation or description.
