Total ada sepuluh dongeng tentang penyihir (wizard dan witch) dan penyulap (magician). Dongeng-dongeng itu dapat dibacakan oleh orang tua kepada anak sebelum tidur. Saya selalu menekankan, "apa yang bisa dipelajari seorang anak dari sebuah cerita?". Jadi, setelah selesai satu buku, saya sedikit kecewa karena ceritanya kurang berkesan dan minim pesan moral yang bisa dipetik. Saya malah lebih suka dengan ilustrasi-ilustrasinya yang lucu.

Yang ini paling mending gak banyak typo nya dibanding 2 buku nicola baxter lain yg udah aku baca (versi terjemahan). Khas banget humornya tuh yaa, kalo lagi minum bisa-bisa nyembur karena tak terduga-duga wkwk

Beautifully illustrated but the stories are drawn out with little storyline behind them. They could either be shorter stories or need more sprucing up on the story to keep children interested

terjemahan Indonesianya agak membosankan. Tapi dari buku ini, aku belajar bagaimana membuat cerita yang enggak ada dialognya. Keren la... kumcer tentang dunia penyihir, kurcaci dan penyulap. Aku suka ide cerita kalau saat ini penyihir tidak hanya terbang pakai sapu, tapi bisa juga pakai mesin penyedot debu. :) :)
