First impressions when the two main characters meet are anything but complimentary! Being together (although accidentally) helps each other cope with unwanted/unforeseen circumstances that threatens them, while at the same time brings them closer together.

Reever is a very exciting book. It has action, adventure, hot hot heat and a strong kick butt heroine, Shiloh (Shy). Loved how Shiloh “complimented” Reever. Excellent Read!!!!!

I loved it and I loved our MCs. The author has accomplished her mission of making us hate the MMC at first then loving him right back when the real him came out. Please keep them coming. I am enjoying and loving this series and their MCs.

It was an absolute pleasure to read this very entertaining Sci-Fi alien enemies-to-lovers romance that has an interesting, well-paced plot and to be quite honest it really grabbed my attention & kept it until the last page was turned. I found the characters to be well-developed complex individuals with realistic flaws and one of them (a extremely feisty, strong-willed human female, Shiloh aka Shy) was abducted from earth to later become a slave in a tavern where she overhears a conversation. She promptly makes a deal to become a mate to a rather grumpy ex-gladiator slave (Reever aka Revericus, a bitter Simkin male). The secondary characters offer good support throughout the storyline.
There is: various kinds of aliens, humans, Reever’s despicable mother, mates, friendship, unusual rituals, adventure, some action, intrigue, suspense, drama, bitter memories, manipulations, protectiveness, undeniable attraction, complications, danger, threats, confrontations, violence, conflict, compromises, some role play, steamy scenes, love & a happy conclusion for this couple.

October 9, 2022Of course I love this book--I wrote it. I love to write these reviews to tell readers what I like most about each book.
It's interesting how I come up with book ideas. Every book is different. For Reever, I kept seeing a picture of this freed gladiator in a bar, his booted feet on the table as he received bad news. He was scowling, irritable and irritating.
Then I remembered how my first year in college I ate in a small dining room with the women from my house at Smith College. The way the room was constructed, the acoustics allowed people at the table I was assigned to to hear conversations from the across the room kitty-corner from us. (Age-old question, Kitty-corner or catty-corner? But I digress)
And that's how the idea progressed, with the heroine overhearing a conversation she wasn't supposed to hear. This is how the bargain got struck for her to be his fake mate, and the book moved on from there.
This enemies-to-lovers (I admit, he's a jerk at first), fake-mates book was so fun to write, complete with an evil mother who makes other evil mothers pale in comparison.
I hope you enjoy Reever, bad boy turned good, along with Shiloh, who gives him a run for his money.

Reever is on the cyborg ship searching and rescuing cyborg females. While in a bar on Galgon, he found out his father passed away almost a year ago. He would inherit the plantation and businesses if he returns home with a mate. His mother sold him into slavery when he was 12 years old and has no desire to find him now and lose everything. She is pure greed and evil and has recently joined an obscure and bizarre religion. So Reever and his mate need to go through the mating ceremony of his mom's religion. An awful ceremony that most would decline to go through.
Shiloh was abducted 3 years ago and works in a bar serving drinks, topless, with no repercussions when she is manhandled. It could be so much worse. Shiloh overhead Reever's dilemma and strikes a deal. She'll be his fake mate and in return get enough credits to start over somewhere else. What could go wrong.
Our author delivers another great story full of intrigue, danger, humor, plot twists, relationship building, drama, steam and evil being thwarted. And an HEA.

I loved this book! I was completely captivated by the storyline. Great world building and wonderful characters. Reever is not an easy character to get along with. He suddenly needs to find a mate in only days or lose the inheritance his father left him upon his death that he was only just notified of. Shiloh was abducted from Earth and has been a slave working in a tavern for three years. She eavesdrops on the conversation and jumps at the opportunity to free herself, offering to pose as his mate and help him claim her inheritance. Reever is an a-hole, but Shiloh is strong, determined, and refuses to be intimidated, even by an alien gladiator. A fun exciting read! I couldn't put it down! 5 stars.

The next book in Alana Khan's Galaxy Warriors Alien Abduction series brings us Reever and Shiloh's story. Filled with the usual angst, emotion, stubbornness, deep commitment and adventure I've come to expect form Alana Khan, Reever doesn't disappoint. In fact every book I read from her I say is the best I've read - then she brings out another one and that becomes the best. For as long as this author keeps putting pen to paper - or should I say - finger to keyboard - I will continue to sing her praises. Her stories are awesome, her characters are incredible and the worlds she creates make me want to pack my bags and move there.

Shiloh-Reever Proclamation
What an interesting story! It seems abduction and slavery in the intergalactic world can happen to humans and aliens alike. I must say, I really liked the love-hate dynamic between Shiloh and Reever. The arrangement that they made to address Reever’s inheritance via a process dictated by a certain evil mother was also quite interesting. Watching all the pieces come together in the end to make this a better plan it for everyone really made me smile.

This was such an entertaining enemies-to-lovers story :) When Shiloh and Reever meet, they do not form very positive first impressions. However, time together lets them get past all that and start to see their true selves. Expect all kinds of drama, including family drama in the form of his evil momma, danger, suspense and steamy romance to be packed into this fun read. I loved following their journey to an HEA :D

More Original than Most
I’ve read hundreds of alien romance books and many tend to follow the same patterns with interesting (hopefully) characters to spice up the similar themes. Although this story sounded like it would be just another rehash, I knew Alana’s characters and morals are usually unique, but she went above my expectations and created something a little more original than the usual.

This was another great book in the Galaxy Warriors series. Although initially Reever doesn't appear to be a very likable hero once you discover his backstory it's easy to understand why he is so grumpy and anti female.The way that he and Shiloh overcome the obstacles in the path of their relationship to enjoy an HEA makes for a truly enjoyable read and you'll be rooting for them ( and booing his despicable mother ) all the way.

Reever and Shiloh
Reever is such a cinnamon roll! This series much more calm than the other warrior's series but wow. The character development is fantastic. Reever is an arrogant male that just seems to be the picture of the dumb strong type but is he? Well Shiloh has a lot of fun finding out. We have drama, sexiness, evil mother and wired cult going on. There is also an underground world that leaves more doors open to new books. I really liked how they got to know each other and learned why they both were the way they were. Also there is a role play scene almost in the end of the book that will blow your minds! As usual a great addition to the Alana Khan verse.

Okay, I'm going to do this review totally different than what I usually do.
This story has moments that will have you hating the H.( please don't judge him, by the end he was my new B.B. aka Book Boyfriend)
Moments that will make you fist-pump the h. (smart AND a great shot)
Moments that will have you fanning yourself.( Traditum Mating Ceremony FLAMES of HOTNESS)
Moments that will make you snort while laughing.(but he did like his nickname)
Moments that will make you say hmm?! ( you must include banter during roll play, very sexy and spicy)
And last but not least, moments that will make your heart expand with emotions! (his "monster"? despicable evil heifer! his childhood that was stolen. the patience and growth between them. and call me petty but when they gave that nasty priest a "closer look" was a lol and fist-pump moment for me)
I was so happy that they not only found theirs but, made sure others also found their HEA!

Another entertaining read in the 3rd Galaxy Warriors series. Loved both the main characters in this one! The main hero starts out hard and unfriendly, but has his reasons. The main heroine was the perfect contrast being quick witted and not afraid to call the hero out on his attitude. Enjoyed how they worked together to get their HEA. Can't wait for the next one!

To gain his inheritance and to obtain revenge against the individual who sold him into slavery at age 12, Reever needs a mate (fake). To gain her freedom and the possibility of a better future, Shiloh offers to take on the role of fake mate when she overhears his discussion with a fellow gladiator. A grumpy alien who dislikes everyone, essentially females, and a female earther who tries to focus on the positive do not sound like a match made in heaven. Settle in for a bumpy ride as this "mated couple" tries to reach for the prize. Humor, conflict, tension and love flow through out this engaging story. A great read.

Another Winner!
I don’t know how she does it but Ms. Kahn just keeps turning out one outstanding book after another! Another male from The Warrior bites the dust! Reever was sold into slavery when he was 12 years old and fought as a gladiator slave for over 20 years. Now he is free, but still a very bitter male, especially towards females. The other mates on the ship don’t like him much, but the feeling is mutual. He is in a tavern drinking with one of the other males when he gets a comm from his father’s lawyers. His father died a year ago and they are just now letting him know that he inherits everything, if he shows up with a mate and he only has 10 days to do it. He figures it is his manipulative mother’s way of making it impossible for him to inherit everything, so it will go to her. As much as he could care less about the money, he is darned if he will let it go to his mother. But where is he going to find a mate in 10 days?
Shiloh is a human that was kidnapped from earth and sold as a slave. For the last three years she has been working in a tavern as a scantily dressed wench. When she overhears the Simkin male’s conversation, she figures this could be her only chance to get out of slavery. She approaches Reever and they negoatiate a deal. They go back to The Warrior and get papers signed for their deal and then he has three days to train her how to act appropriately for life on Simkin .
At first Shiloh can’t stand Reever, and he doesn’t make it easy for her. But once she gets to his home and meets his mother she starts to understand some of Reever’s issues with women. This is a very emotional journey of self discovery for both of them and they both rise to the challenges set before them. A great read!

Another great addition to the Alanaverse ! Reefer is a bitter freed gladiator. He has been wallowing in anger and hatred for at least 20 years. He has no trust in females and doesn't want to deal with them unless he must. That day comes quickly the day he finds out his father died and he's set to inherit everything but his poisonous mother will do anything to make sure he gets nothing. He needs to find a mate and fast before he can claim his birthright. Shiloh was abducted over 3 years ago a forensic accountant turned topless bar wench in space she heard and sees the miserable gladiator and offers herself up to help him as long as he promises to help her get on her feet. They both buck heads for the first portion of the story until their pasts slowly come to light and they start listening to one another. They are put in some very uncomfortable situations they actually draw them closer and closer together.before they know it their sham of a relationship has become something strong and real. I absolutely love all the books connected with this world but I have to admit this book has to be among my top 5. Reever and Shiloh meet totally by chance and he truly needs her help. It was such a hot and steamy book! Nothing usual there but as I’ve said in previous book reviews it totally baffles me sometimes how each book is so totally different and all the different races of the gladiators have these intricate customs and mating ceremonies. Let me tell you, nothing you have read in these books before will prepare for the 3 different ceremonies Reever and Shiloh have to participate in. All because of Reever’s barbaric mother. As if what she did to him as a child wasn’t bad enough, it only gets worse after they arrive back on his home planet. There are some truly amazing scenes in this book. Two of my favourites happen to the priest and his mother! Trust me you will know what I mean when you get to that point in the book!
Loved this book so much, yes Reever is a female hating idiot, but you soon find out why and watching their relationship change was one of my favourite parts.
Eagerly awaiting the next book.

Reever is a gladiator who was sold as a young boy by his family into slavery even though they were filthy rich. Reever is rescued from slavery as a gladiator by Zar and his crew and freed.
Reever finds out later that his father has died and to collect his inherentance so his evil mother doesn't get it he must be mated. He finds Shiloh in a bar as a human slave and he frees her and hires her to be his pretend wife.
Shiloh is a beautiful human woman who was taken from Earth and sold as a slave. She hears Reever talking to someone in the bar that he needs a pretend wife to inherit his fortune and agrees to be his wife if he frees her and pays her 1000 credits.
This is were the story takes on a life of its own. It is full of humor, danger, romance and lots and lots of hot hot hot moments. This book has it all. The story and character building are fantastic and the story grabs you from page one all the way through to the very last page.
I highly recommend this book, this author and this series to everyone who loves syfy romance. I know you will love it as much as I did. Be sure to pick up a copy. You will be very very glad that you did.

Alana Khan is one of my favorite authors and she has a gift in the way she writes her characters. The characters are very human even when they are aliens and are easy for you to empathize with and see yourself in their places. I always think she can not outdo herself, but with each new book she draws me deeply into the story and I can't put it down. I love the characters in this story. They are original and have issues. The story line is as always very easy to read and entertaining.I have to keep flipping those pages as I can't seem to put them down. There are adult situations in this book, so mature audiences only. Two people, one of which is an alien, use each other to get what they want. For the human, freedom and a new life, for the alien, revenge on his mother and great wealth are the end goals. What they didn't count on was each other . This is their story and I highly recommend it.

Thank you for arc read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. I laughed much throughout this one.. first horror of it all, how dare the horned guy just order with out the oogle and before the fiderlty dance. That was my first though after reading, Shiloh passive aggressive thought. After eavesdropping on the Simkin's simi-private conversation..A plan is in motion as well as a bid for her freedom. As far as plans go what could possibly go wrong? Is it just the close proximity that is the drawl appeal between Reever and Shiloh or is a deeper connection?
Reever is to inherit his family's wealth, that is if he can show up mated. Favorite thus far...
I devour each and every Khan story I can get my hands on and have many favorite couples, but these two take the cake.
When the universe sets out to mercilessly humble us, I too am the type of protagonist who meets the challenge head-on, just like Shiloh in this tale. And there have been times when unforseen or uncontrollable forces have poisoned my spirit, just like Reever before those same chaotic fates offered him genuine comfort in the form of his soul mate. What an amazing journey from surviving with suspicious indifference to thriving with compassionate consideration!

The third book in the Galaxy Warriors Alien Abduction Romance Series if you have been following this series you do not want to miss this book. Both Reever and Shiloh have had so much taken away from them. I enjoyed seeing his Mother get what she deserved. I recommend. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Good balance of light and dark
This was my type of fake dating story. It didn’t take long for the hero and heroine to start working as a team, and there wasn’t an annoying third-act miscommunication between them. Everything wrapped up nicely without feeling rushed. This was my first time reading this author’s work, and I can’t wait to try more.

Another in this amazing series by Alana Khan. This was the best story! I can't wait for more! The series kept me glued until the end. Great world-building and likable characters. I want to read more about this crew and their adventures. I hope she keeps this series going for a long time! Excellent writing!

Slow burn romance. Reever and Shiloh are super sweet. It takes a good bit of time to figure out they like each other. The build up is slow but as always the author delivers in the end.
