Building a life after...
This is a truly tragic and beautiful story. A fair and just Alpha meets a strong and abused woman. Mates in a world that hasn't been easy. A true love ending.

Love the Alumbra pack and so glad Peter found his mate. Can’t wait to see what kind of trouble the other pack mates find themselves in love how the Brodericks are still part if the story

I have waited what seems like forever to read Peter’s story and it was definitely worth the wait! Peter has been a favorite of mine since his introduction in the Broderick Coven Book series. (Yeah….you should read those books as well!)
Peter is the alpha of the Alumbra pack. He is a strong leader and leads his pack with a firm hand, but a warm heart. He has been searching for his mate for a long time and he is just about to give up, when he starts to “feel” things and is unsure of what these feelings are. With all that he is going through he needs to push it aside as the pack is on a mission to save more women from the evil hands of the Sivella’s. When the pack arrives and they take care of business, Peter is taken aback when he finds his mate in a room filled with abused women.
Rosalie seems to be the leader among with battered and bruised women. She can sense that Peter is her mate, but is wary off all men – should be a given after the hell she has been through. Peter and the pack take all the woman back to the compound to be looked after (feed, showered, clothed, etc). She will need time to heal and process everything that she has gone through – Peter will need to reign in his wolf and give her the time and space that she needs.
These two have a lot to learn about each other! But Peter is one caring alpha and is willing to do whatever it takes in order to claim his mate. He finally found her and he is not letting her go. Giving her space is one thing, leaving is another thing all together!
Love this book…can’t wait for the next read!

My heart is beating double time for Peter. He is the most understanding and patient Alpha I have read in a while. To be able to contain the wolf within him after meeting his mate because she needs time to heal. Who wouldn’t want that in a mate and Alpha?
Rosalie was taken as a young girl she was beaten and abused but she found a way to survive. When she and the other women were saved, she found her mate. She struggled with what happened to her all those years and did not believe she was the right mate for an Alpha. She not only found her mate but was reunited with her sister and wow had things really changed for her.
I loved how Peter needed to make sure all the women were safe and protected. He made sure they got the counseling they needed. He also made it clear by his actions and words that they were all free, no longer imprisoned and could make their own choices.
I enjoyed seeing Rosalie become the leader she was born to be. She knows how to plan a weekend of fun, let loose herself and have a good time with her new pack. I fell in love with this pack and I’m intrigued with the witches in this one. I think I need to go back and read all the Broderick series. I did find the myself wanting to know more about the alpha of another pack just by one phone call conversation with Peter. I am intrigued by many of the pack members and ready to see them find their mates.

Rebel and the (Alumbra Pack) is. I loved reading about Peter. He is such an alfa but sering him not in control was fun. He goes on a mission and he quickly realizes why he has been so on edge. And her name is Rosalia.
Rosalia has been living for one moment at a time and praying for help to come and when Peter shows up she has conflicting feelings and has alot of healing to happen.
Will Peter and Rosalia be able to be together or will her painful past let her move forward.
Excellent!!! Writing, characters and world building.

I LOVED PETER!! I mean I have loved him since meeting him in the Broderick series. You do not have to read the Broderick series to read this book OR the following books in the series BUT I highly suggest it so you understand the relationships.
Peter…he is the best alpha. He loves his pack and those he deems pack like the witches in the Broderick coven. He is fierce in protecting those he loves. He is happy with his life, but he yearns for his mate. He is happy for Brandy and her siblings but…yeah why can’t he find HERE!!! Our calm cool alpha is outta his mind lately and he is not sure WHY. He can’t focus and is just hot tempered which is not Peter. When the pack and the coven go to save some women, he is beyond mad to see his mate there…in the room of abused and battered women AND a sister to Claudia.
Rosalie is the brave one of the group. She has done lots of things that many would find disgusting to survive abuse and horrors. When she realizes they are being rescued and its by her sister, she is overjoyed and then…..she sees him. The large wolf is her mate. She is scared given she has seen how alpha tend to treat women.
Rosie and Peter have a lot to overcome but Peter becomes more the man we know and love. He is doing everything to make sure she knows she is safe and wanted no matter what she as been through. He is doing everything to put her at ease to him and his caring. The waters these two navigate was pretty wicked at times but Peter never faulters. GUYS I loved him even more!!! GAH!! PETER!!!
I am so excited for this series and absolutely love that the Brodericks are just as front and center in this series as Peter’s pack was in their story. But I really wanna know whats up with Xander but Lea and Joel!! EEEEP!!!!
I cannot wait!!
