Uber-talented ad exec Tansy Martin is on a once-a-month mission. Hone in on the hottest guys in the hardware aisles, love ´em, and leave ´em. This creative side gig is sheer brilliance, because she has zero intention of getting burnt by some slick player. All’s good until her ‘Who’s Next Wagon’ slams into bad boy Gash, aka Mr. July. Next thing she knows, they’re shacked up nice and cozy, lighting the sheets on fire.
Whoa! Time to shut this lunacy down, and fast.
Life’s cool for contractor Gash Gannon. Hard work, good times, and casual hook-ups suit him just fine. Freaked by his crappy family history, ain’t no way he’s ever gonna put a ring on it. Upscale supermarkets are his hunting grounds, and so far, he’s had no complaints from the ladies. One and done, that’s his motto. But the second delicious Ms. M. rams her man-eating cart into him, he’s toast.
Okay, time to rethink that ring thing. Damn… Once is never gonna be enough.
Stung by the literary lovebug at a tender young age, JC has been devouring steamy romantic fiction ever since. Seriously… What could possibly be more delectable at the end of a rough day than a big, bad, moody brute brought to his alphalicious knees by a gorgeous, sassy-talking heroine?
Well, besides Tom Hardy showing up shirtless on your doorstep with car trouble.
Penning “I wish” fantasies while slogging through the woefully Rhett-scarce world, JC invites readers to indulge in decadent escape through her foulmouthed, passion-saturated tales.
I really enjoyed this book. It is indeed my first book from the author J. C. Jaye. To be honest I went into the story with different expectations. To be honest, those expectations were justified. I was hooked straight away in Gash and Tansy story. They were both really fun and nice characters. And let's not forget, they were both good looking and sexy 😎.
What I liked within their story was that it started like a one-night stand and couple of weeks after, somehow it became something permanent. Even though that none of them wanted to admit it. At one point you can definately see that they are like obsessed with each other, which is exactly for my taste. The steam was beyond everything and the smut was soo soo good.
I know that this is the 2nd book from the series and I am very intrigued to read the other books. If they are like this one, I am sure that I will like it ♥️.
I received an ARC copy of this book and this is my voluntary review.
Need it, Worse by J.C. Jaye is an erotic romantic comedy. This is the second book in the Breakaleg Trilogy but each book can be read as a standalone.
This is the first book of J.C.’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I really enjoyed getting Tansy and Gash’s points of view in each chapter.
I would recommend this book if you like erotic stories or romantic comedies.
I’m in love with these dirty talking super hot men. This story is hot and sexy enough to make your ears smoke. Meeting the man of your dreams in a hardware store who’d of thought it.
If your up for an erotic adventure jump in right now.
Tansy is new to the world of S*x and she is going to make the most of it with her monthly goals and her rule of never seeing them after one time. On her hunt for her next conquest she ends up stalking Gash while he is shopping for building supplies at his home away from home. Gash is minding his own business when the sexiest little woman rams into him with her cart and everything changes. Rules are meant to be broken. These two both have the same rules one and done but after a crazy romp multiple times in one day these two try their hardest to forget each other but fate has other plans. I loved the fantastic humorous inner monolog that JC Jaye writes for these two characters it will have you laughing out loud through this whole book. While both these characters have pasts that have caused them commitment issues Gash seems to be able to move on easier than Tansy and is more open to wanting more. Tansy has so many trust issues at the first sight of trouble she bails. I love this story these two characters are so funny, the way Tansy is always pushing Gash to his limits with her skimpy clothing is hilarious. They have explosive chemistry throughout the whole book even in situations that get out of hand. What an absolute delight to read Gash will forever be in my mind. I was given this book as an ARC for my honest review,
