My Cousins, My Friends
This book is a tribute to all cousins in the world who love each other like best friends.

Often times a small child's first best friend is a cousin. Sometimes a person doesn't meet a cousin until they are an adult. Either way, that connection can be so strong they become fast friends! They may realize they have much in common or see themselves in each other.

The bond is strong between cousins as well as dear friends. Love grows between cousins, and friendships blossom. Some have many cousins, while others may long to know just one. It doesn't always take a cousin to make a best friend, but when that happens, it is very special.

Honor your cousins by gifting them each a copy of this book.

As a genealogy enthusiast, I was fascinated by Diana DelRusso's book, My Cousins, My Friends. She explains how cousins are a special part of many families, serving as peers, playmates, and confidants. As we grow older, our cousins can become our closest friends and supporters. What a great reason to nurture close relationships with our cousins.

If you're passionate about genealogy, or simply curious about the role of cousins in our lives, be sure to check out this delightful children's book!

Beautiful way to teach about your family tree cousins

The easy, conversational tone of this story encourages conversation with your little ones about their cousins in your family tree. The illustrations make you want to linger on each page. I especially love the tree the illustrator provided so you can fill in the names or add colors for all your cousins on the last page.

I love the fall colours and leaves; such vibrant illustrations. What a lovely way to teach kids about the family tree. The book compares the lifestyle of leaves to that of family dynamics among cousins. It was a lovely read!
