Rate this book
Africa is the most Christian continent in the world today. This ground-breaking book celebrates this momentous occasion in world history while it traces God’s goodness to Africa in scripture and throughout history, clearly demonstrating that Africa and Africans have always been central to God’s missional purposes, not an afterthought. Since quantity and quality are not synonymous, Africa to the Rest unveils the teeming potentials as well as teething problems of African mission. This African lead in global Christianity is only going to increase into the foreseeable future, thus these projections call for preparation in order to produce the quantity and quality of African Christians who will be faithful carriers of the authentic gospel to all nations! The future of the global church is African, this book matters.

I am delighted to see such articulation and strategic thinking emanating from the world’s next great missionary sending movement. The writers bring an expertise and voice that is vital for a continent that holds an enormous capacity for finishing the commission mandate.

The blend of research, theological reflection and missiological models is exciting to read. We can only hope that more such works will be penned as a blessing to the global Church.

This is an exceptional and needed resource, less because it provides unique data or analysis, than because of who is saying it, who they are saying it to, how well they say it, and the urgency and power of their message. These authors carry credibly and show holy hope as well as honest realism. My only regret is that they did not overtly speak as much to the African American church as to the they did to the whole African diaspora as a groupt. I hope this message gets heard by missions agencies and churches in the west and churches and emerging mission agencies in Africa.
