About the Author. Michael Martino came to the United States in 1954. He served in the U.S. Army (1967-'68) in the Medical Corps. Taking advantage of the GI Bill, he went to college, building a career in sales. Michael and his wife of over 40 years, Barbara, share two children. They enjoy traveling and just spending time together.
