Another wonderful book by Jolene Navarro.
The story looks at the life of a family in the Witness Protection Program. The challenges of trying to live a life in these difficult circumstances was an interesting read. I loved the characters and the puppies!
This book is the start of the Lone Star Heritage Series. I am looking forward to the continuation of this series.

Sniffle…this one hits all the feels. Tender and funny and achingly sweet as well as heart breaking given Greyson’s past. The witness protection angle was really interesting since it focuses on what that actually looks like for the family in hiding. I’m used to reading this trope in a suspense novel which is all about the danger and intrigue — so a very different spin and one I haven’t read in a contemporary romance before.
Greyson’s daughters are adorable! Their antics, and the wary way Savannah interacts with them (she doesn’t do kids) was alternately funny and touching. And the romantic tension between this hero and heroine….be still my heart. Toe-curling with an undercurrent of impossible that made it a frenzy-page-turner because I just had to get to the promised happily ever after (it is a Love Inspired romance, after all.)

This was a sweet read! While there are sad and serious moments, there were laugh out loud ones too! My kind of read!

However, Savannah doesn’t like lies,and his life is one big lie. Can he tell her the whole truth? Can he and his family live with the consequences if he reveals the truth?

After witnessing his wife's murder Greyson McKinsey and his twin daughters go into witness protection. They move to a farm in Texas. He needs a nanny for his twins. Savannah Espinoza and her brother are hired to restore some old barns on the farm. When the nanny doesn't show up Savannah helps Greyson with the girls. This is a heartwarming story of hope, faith and love. One of the best Christian books I've read. I highly recommend this story.
