"Passive Income: Proven Ideas Of Side Hustles To Make Money Online" by Mark Johns reads more like a joke than a serious guide. The book presents unrealistic and impractical ideas, making it hard to take any of the advice seriously.
Here are some of the "passive income ideas" suggested in the book:
- Write a horror mystery novel and become the next Stephen King.
- Do gigs on Fiverr for $5.
- Forum posting for $0.1 and supposedly make $100 an hour.
- Put your money in a savings account with a 0.1% annual return.
- Invest in stocks and become the next Warren Buffet.
- Buy real estate and rent it out.
- Rent out on Airbnb and make $20,000 a month.
- Create an ebook on how to be a millionaire, sell it for $5, and make 5 million dollars by selling one million copies.
The advice in this book ranges from overly simplistic to outright ridiculous.
Moreover, the book seems to be a scam, promoting sign-ups for some dubious service in each chapter. It's clear that the author's main goal is to lure readers into a potential trap rather than providing genuine, actionable advice.
