Young readers will love to peek through the pages of this busy board book to discover what goes on at a construction site! The peek-through pages and detailed pictures are just right for young learners. Children will discover all of the different machines and equipment needed to complete a construction project--this time, it's a school that's being built! A bulldozer pushes rubble out of the way; a worker uses a shovel to dig a small hole; and a cement mixer mixes cement to be poured for the building's foundation. All of the workers and machines must work together to complete the project.
I'd absolutely add this title to my classroom library and my personal children's library. I have read a lot of construction books over the years and this one stands out from the rest. The text is a little different than other construction books and there is a "look-and-find" aspect that I enjoy. I was glad to see that there were some women included! I wish there were more POC in the illustrations though.
I read this to Julianna this morning. We both loved this book. We both give it 5 stars. peek through pages were fun. The learning about construction of a school and looking for objects in the pictures were fun. Great illustrations and short teaching book that holds interest for parent and child abiut conatruction.

Another fun book to read with Dad. Lots to learn about how construction sites work, with things to find and windows to peep through between pages. A good book for little hands to learn to turn pages.
