No part 3 for me
I promise Nako is my favorite author right now but this was a complete boring mess. Repetitive and long for no reason. I didn’t even like Evelyn. Not a good read. I skipped through most of the long drawn out inner thoughts.

This author gives me life
This is one of the best authors I have read in urban fiction. It's not your average third person writing style. I actually feel as if I'm in the characters' head and understand their thoughts. One of the best themes is this new love interest. I made assumptions about his appearance the entire story and actually went back after reading the ending. One of the few authors where I won't wait for a completed series and will read each book upon its release. I love this author!!!

Another great read as expected!!!
Nothing less than 5 stars. This was a great book. I never seen that coming with G. I'm happy Evelyn didn't push Daniel away being so sneaky and not open with her life but I understand why she concealed. I wonder if she told the truth what would be different? Although race isn't an issue I never expected Daniel to be white. Thanks for the great book!!!!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again- Nako is the best! This book was everything I expected it to be. Her trifling ass dad gets what he deserves and she gets her happiness. That ending though!!! I was mad but was cracking up at the same time because I did not see that coming. So excited for the next one.

This book had me on the edge of my seat how to go on when the the one person you trust betrays you. I can't believe Evelyn father is as evil as he was. I can't even wrap my head around this but this book was so good that you can't help but scream. This book is a one click wonder so hurry and get it

This was a good reading! So glad Evelyn's dad got what he deserved. Daniel is such a sweetheart. However I was not expecting that ending. Can't wait for part 3!

why is this lasting this long?
The second book say it was out 2017 it is now 2021 how haven’t you release the 3rd one?
Evelyn try to act like she smart but is so dumb, it’s so annoying. The 1st book you killed paper off while we was finna find out something about her father and I thought it was gonna end in a juicy way but it just ended up her going to the feds and he got book with a snap of a finger. This second one was boring because people was getting killed right before they was gone say something but when asked what was they about to say mfs still never gave the full truth or understanding.. like how you confusing the readers this much? Don’t understand why Paper and rob had to die Fr, don’t understand why you kept G alive/free for so long.. this book is so confusing. Cuz what’s with the cell phone? Sasha? The cartel? How did G get caught up to even start snitching? The people who really wanted G? Who were they and what were they doing to get him? Why wasn’t his family being messed with if he was a snitch and every knew? I’m confused.

This is crazy but very enjoyable.
What s ride. Between G, Grady, Marcus, Emoney Gabby and Slide, we were on a whirlwind ride. Murder, drugs, deceit, jealousy and money. I thought that Daniel was good for Evelyn. Mom proved that people can change and I was happy that she was able to mend her relationship with her daughters. Mom didn't play when she was off drugs. Claudia was a friend indeed and it appears Evelyn got out of the streets and became a real estate agent. Part 2 was good, can't wait for part 3.

Finally found herself
Evelyn deserved her happiness because she was forced into a life that she didn't want! Everyone wants love and deserves it. Her father was a mean selfish person who deserved what he got for using and abusing people for years. Evelyn found herself and her freedom and her happily ever after!

Caught off guard
So much was happening behind Evelyn back. Her dad snitching, her right hand skipping town, her protege gets killed, lil sis pregnant and her mom got secrets that she’s not hiding anymore. Daniel her new love who during the entire book she claims has an accent of island native is not black. I need clarification quickly so where’s book 3

Love Nako and all her books. This one is a great read. Read it years ago and decided to read again. Where is part 3? Will there ever be a part three. The book ending with Daniel being a white man.

This book was so good. I would never imagine her daddy being a snake. I'm so happy she found happiness after Paper and I hope they get married. Her father wasn't doing anything but using them. Her sisters need to grow up too old to be that stupid. Daniel being white, Damn

Good book I typically don't read series unless it's complete I wasn't expecting this from this author since I've read almost all here work so I'm kinda of disappointed there is no finale to this story !!!

I’m not really feeling the endings
I don’t know if it’s just me or what but I don’t like how all these stories seem to just…end. I mean I get pulled in the story riding these emotional roller coasters and then the story just ends.

Pretty good!!
This book was really just okay for me, while Nako is a dope author the real art of storytelling didn't shine through in this particular book. There were certain parts of the story that I felt were drawn out unnecessarily and caused the storyline to move slow. But nothing bad enough to take away from the plot or away from my love for the characters. Nako is very skilled at spoon feeding her readers the juicy details and keeping us hungry for more. Can't wait to find out what happens in the next installment.
