When I was young I relied on a monthly star chart in The Guardian and staying up every so often to watch Patrick Moore on The Sky at Night for my information. Oh, and my Observers book of astronomy. I would have loved this simple book back then to help me add planets, meteors and phases of the moon. So much pleasure for so little outlay. Sixty years of looking up at night!
I imagine this will be an incredible hardback book. Really insightful. In depth month by month read that I will use throughout the coming year. Has some really useful points, a bit heavy on information for novices but interesting and I imagine incredibly helpful for avid sky watchers.
Beautifully published book filled with all the information needed to understand the basics of stargazing and the movement of the planets on the night sky. I loved it, even though I’m still incredibly bad at spotting anything on the night sky😅
