DISSOLUTION: A Novel

Rate this book
When Raymond Thomas received a secret phone call from the World Business Federation, his world was turned upside down.

“Like with Conroy, accidents happen, Mr. Thomas. It would be tragic if something happened to you, or your pretty wife, or to your son, Ben.”

Two families, the Randall’s and Thomas’ navigate a world struggling with the rise of nationalism, and political conspiracy. To avert civil war, Congress calls a constitutional convention to restructure America.

When Jennifer Thomas marries Sean Murphy, who is elected governor of the newly formed Intercontinental Province, her life takes a dark turn. Faced with a choice of loyalty to America or her husband, Jennifer makes a shocking decision.

This political thriller is a warning that the deepening inequality of American life could lead to cataclysmic results.

Received a complimentary copy of this novel… Initially I found the novel somewhat disjointed but as I continued reading I understood the manner in which it was laid out was to give a synopsis of the characters, their relationships to one another and the political situation set to take place… the characters were portrayed in a way that had me thinking of the actors that would play the parts in a movie rendition of the book. I could so see the movie in my head while reading (lol). Liked how when reading you begin to think is this purely fictional or somewhat nonfictional? Is there a hidden warning? Who knows, guess time will tell.. definitely a mind blowing page turner that has you eagerly awaiting, what’s next?

A free book from Voracious Readers thank you

Fact or fiction? Based on historic events is this tale perhaps a glimpse of the future? Conspiracies, truth, lies, control what do the people believe.
A thought provoking read.

Thanks Voracious Readers for this book!
It's very different to what I normally read, jumping from one place/person to another took me a bit to get used to.
However, it really got me thinking with the mix of reality and fiction, very thought provoking.
I'd highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in the current world affairs.

I had received this book from Voraciousreadersonly.com and the author back in September in exchange for an honest review (and I finally got around to reading this book).

This political thriller starts off in the late 1800's with establishment of a timber company in Montana and through some clever foresight ( which you later learn is due in part to a precursor to the Bilderberg Group) ultimately leads one family from becoming an industry leader to politics (including an excellent discourse on modern American politics from the last twenty years and a short period before that).

I think that this book would be enjoyed by anyone with an interest in American politics and loves a fair helping of New World Order conspiracy intermixed. That said, I really enjoyed the book and would easily give this a solid four stars out of five.

As with all my literary ramblings, this is just my five cents worth.

This is a great book for anyone interested in politics. It was quite interesting, I liked the merge of all the different families. I only hope what happened at the end was fiction!
