It’s surprising that this book doesn’t have any reviews yet, so I suppose I’ll have to do as a reviewer just to give it some justice. From its cover to its beautiful illustrations, this book makes a lovely collector’s item or coffee table book for both juvenile and adult readers alike. If you’re looking for an exhaustive compendium of insects, this isn’t the book you’re looking for. However, I think the author truly selected some of the most interesting and unique insects to display here, as well as some backyard favourites. For being well composed with interesting facts and beautiful aesthetics, I’ve rated this book a 5. It’s a quick read, but well worth it.
