Honestly, I’m at a loss for what to say on this book, best one out of the series. The emotional damage with this book is real, it broke me, put me back together and broke me again. Total book hangover from this one! Right when I thought I’d have It all figured out… PLOT TWIST and I’m back to trying to figure out what the F*** just happened!
““Viktor’s standing there, his face devoid of all color. Two NYPD officers are with him.
“Viktor? What’s going on?”
They step out of the elevator the doors close behind them.
“Let’s go sit down.” He takes my arm, but I shrug from his grasp.
“No. Tell me what’s going on. Why are there police in my house?”
“Mrs. Montgomery?” The female office speaks.
“Stop.” Viktor puts up his hand. “I’ll tell her.”
My heart pounds. The last time I got a call from the police --“
Yall my heart was racing, all noise around me faded as I could literally feel Natalie’s heart breaking, my own breaking with her. I didn’t want this to be true they were finally getting their happy ever after 😭!
Seeing Viktor step in from the moment Alex was gone to take care of Natalie, keeping that promise that he made to Alex and letting his own feelings start to take over, as my heart was still with Alex it learned to trust Alex’s request and fall in love with the idea of Viktor, Natalie and little Rose. Then Tara did the unthinkable and threw in the biggest curve I definitely didn’t see coming. I don’t know who my heart belongs to more, Alex or Viktor. My heart was pulled into so many directions. I laughed, cried, felt every heartbreak along with them. I love that Natalie still got her happy ever after, I’ll let you read It and figure out who it’s with 😉. A genuine great read, keeps you invested throughout the entire book and definitely recommend!
