Nancy Alcorn, Founder and President of Mercy Multiplied spent the first eight years of her career working with troubled girls and then investigating child abuse cases. It was during this period that Nancy realized the inadequacy of these programs to offer real transformation in the lives of hurting young women.
Nancy knew that only Jesus could bring restoration in the lives of these girls who were so desperately hurting, and she knew God was calling her to step out and do something about it.
In 1983, she founded Mercy Multiplied, a nonprofit Christian organization that exists to provide opportunities for all to experience God's unconditional love, forgiveness, and life-transforming power. Its residential programs for women ages 13-32 and outpatient services for men and women aged 13 or older are voluntary, biblically-based, and free-of-charge. Their Outreach Services offer multiple resources online and onsite designed to equip men and women of all ages to live free and stay free in Jesus Christ.
