What has lots of diamonds, but only minimal value?
A deck of cards!
I wasn’t going to put this book on my goodreads list but after talking to my son today I decided to. I reached this decision for two reasons: 1) I want credit for the massive effort I put forth reading it, and 2) it was a gift…thanks Daryl!
I don’t want to talk down such a considerate gift from a friend but this was not a great read. The biggest laugh I had was the first time I read the title. With such a catchy name, You can imagine how much I looked forward to my first bathroom “session”. Unfortunately it was a Disappointment. A big, Unsanitary disappointment.
The jokes and riddles were mediocre and there are 325 of them to struggle through. You do the math…1-2 bathroom “sessions” per day and 3-4 riddles per session. Months!
Not every book can be a five-star, so I want to thank Daryl for his gift and let him know I have no hard feelings for putting me through such an ordeal. I also want to assure the author, Alex Smart, that I am giving him another chance by reading his other classic “learn a lot while you sit on the pot“. My review should be submitted by the end of 2023. Sooner if I have stomach issues…

Kind of a fun book to have on hand when you only have a few minutes available to read, and a good book to keep in the car when you're traveling with your family.
