When Saffron’s sailing outing with Reggie goes terribly, terribly wrong, she finds herself overboard and in over her head.
Someone is missing, someone is dead, and the only witness–the only suspect–is Saffron. Only she can’t remember what happened when the seas turned stormy.
Doubting her own innocence, Saffron must investigate from the confines of a jail cell. She’ll have to call on all her old friends–and a surprising new friend–to help her solve this case!
Good story......well played out! Very complicated; Saffron really "stepped in it" this time. The only negative is the fact that there was "not enough Keahi" or Shadow. I sure hope we read much more about them in future books!
Wow, This was a good one! The mystery(mysteries were very complex and the characters so well written I feel as though I know them. But the storm was what really felt realistic!
A bit different than past books, but I liked the introspection and depth of description. Unraveling the mystery right along with Saffron seemed more personal this time. Can't wait for the next book!
A simple Saturday sailing trip turns into a nightmare. (Shades of Gilligan's Island.) Saffron and Reggie plan a pleasant day of sailing in his boss's boat. Then comes a storm, and the idyllic day becomes deadly.
I really love this book is very suspenseful. Kept my attention throughout the whole thing. It was hard for me to put it down. Can’t wait to read the next one.
Unexpected twist to the story and unusual way of finding a killer. Some expected turns and some not expected at all! Would have liked a closing for Shadow.
