Good story, too many errors
The author writes a good sex scene, but this particular reviewer got really, really annoyed by erratic commas, random apostrophe placement (Hint: Shows possession: Fred's tent. = The tent of Fred. Shows letters missing: Fred's tent's gone! = Fred's tent is gone. NEVER used for more than one thing - The infamous Greengrocer's apostrophe: pear's, apple's, tent's...), and random homophones, some of them only homophones if you speak with an American accent and use American slang!
Yes this is fantasy, but set in Victorian times, or just after the Civil War, to the Cousins. Women did not wear "panties". Or bras, which hadn't been invented. Ninety percent of women wore slips and petticoats, anything else was "unhygienic".
Also, (Spoiler alert!) what on Earth was a complement of the British Army doing in California, and WTF was a PRINCE of the Realm doing in charge of it?

Honestly one of the best stories I’ve read in a long time
Good story telling. Characters built and developed. Interesting developments. Love, passion and kindness. Left me wanting more and still satisfied with what I had consumed. Very nice work.

Too Long.
My gosh. This story was just way way too long. So much repetition of fights and killing and yes, even the sex. The same stuff over and over.

Not a right MC
I.can't believe this MC is as stupid and unknowing as is . Jamie written as a tempermental person who who when angry pays no attention to surrounding danger.. Yeah ....he is doing ok with the women not because he is smart about women but because they are not bothered by his lack of knowledge and he has a big dick. He has never gone down on a woman before but all of a sudden he knows what a clit is and what to do . Since the first woman was his first ,and he thought that as a sin ,Gosh!! Darn it ha this mansion . I call BS that this young boy, having sex ,nany kind of sex,or the ecomd time knows anything about na woman's Virginia let alone where and what her Clit is. Nick storming put some kind of believable truth in your stories because you make your main character look stupid . He has never been around a woman yet knows what to do...he bias killed 4 tom5 men get is too dumb to pay attention to the man he is looking at who is ready to shoot him.and you have him ro!long out of the way just in time so he only gets a slight wound . Then you have him created your a out the pain lime.some cry baby.. We were young in Viet nam and some of is took a round of two and no one cried because the man crying made too much noise . your man isntoo.much of pussy
