Perfectly content in his bachelor lifestyle. Jack never saw a family for himself. That was until his Ex showed up on his doorstep with a toddler in tow and an ultimatum he couldn’t turn away from. Scrambling to find a sense of normalcy and nowhere near ready to be a father, Jack turns to the one person he thinks could help him in his time of desperation. The only problem: Harley hates his guts.
After a failed marriage, Harley decided love wasn’t in the cards for her. She couldn’t have a family of her own, so when her friend moved home with her twins, she helped raise them. Now Maddie is getting married, and Harley finds herself to be lonely. That is until Jack presents her with an opportunity that is too great to pass up. Almost. Tension and irritation led to sparks they can’t ignore. Will the two of them crash and burn or will this lead to more than they ever hoped to find?
All or Nothing is a small town, enemies to lovers, single dad romance with humor, spice, and a dash of angst.
Content warning: Graphic/mature language and scenes, mentions of miscarriage, attempted sexual assault, child abandonment and neglect. Reader’s discretion advised.
Tilya Eloff was born and raised in a small town in Alabama. A wife and mom of five who loves getting lost in a great book at the end of a busy day. She fell in love with reading after being diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth, and no longer able to work she needed something to fill her day while her kids were away at school. Recently she has felt called to writing herself. She now considers herself to be an Indie author. She just wants to make a life doing what she loves.
Great second book to the series. Harley and Jack are two characters that you can't help but love. They argue constantly, while avoiding the connection they both feel. Both characters past has made them very guarded and protective of their hearts. Will they ever be able to let their guard down to allow love in. Both characters feel they are not worthy of being loved nor are they capable of giving a partner everything they want. When they both finally decide to try things out, they find they maybe able to do so. I can't wait to read the other books in the series and see how these characters tie in.
Harley and Jack have a history as children, but now that their lives are intertwined due to family and friends, they have to find a way to overcome their past history as well as their childhood pain.
Jack needs help when he receives an unexpected visitor and turning to his only family, Xander and Maddie, he gets more than he bargained for. The best part is that his life will only get better with the help of his family by choice. Jack had a rough childhood, but his life got so much better when he finally found a family by choice in Xander and his family. He and Xander faced some tragedy together and are stronger for their friendship.
Harley had a rough childhood, but she hasn’t found much good in her life, with the exception of her best friend Maddie and her children. Now that Maddie and Xander have moved on and are making a life together, Harley is feeling a bit dejected and alone. How can she make it on her own when she’s struggling so much to make ends meet? Maddie may have the answers she needs, but is she willing to put everything on the line for it?
I liked the story, and the characters are great. I do wish that Pops had more of a part in the story especially on Jack’s side since he had such a shock to his life. It would have been good to see that relationship as well. I loved Jack’s humor and his vulnerabilities. He is a great character, and his path and HEA were great to read. His childhood did a number on him and his vulnerability of being left behind and not being good enough, broke my heart. He’s a good man with a huge heart that he keeps hidden to protect it, but the right girl/girls can open it up and make him a better man than the believes he is. I enjoyed the story and look forward to more in the Safe in Love Series. I give this book a 4-star review.
Wow. Harley and Jack had rough childhoods and when they were young new each other and he never realized how much he hurt her. Years later there lives become tangled and she wants to hate him until an unknown child is dropped on him. Can she get past her issues to help him? Reading how their relationship evolves kept me on the edge of my seat. I have never wanted a couple to find their happily ever after. The seton is so exceptional. This story is absolutely perfect.
Second book in the safe in love series. Oppressive people love harder. Harley has a secret. Jack needs a babysitter for his daughter. They hate each other. They want each other. Jack single father over night. He needs help. He wants to make a family for his daughter. Harley wants a family but her secret is killing her. Jack wants Hailey and nothing will stop him from claiming her, not even Hailey. They where made for each other.
This book was exceptional, I loved the characters, they made me laugh, made me cry and made me want to kill. Jojo is the sweetest little girl and you fall right in love with her. Jackass is a hot as hell dad and omg hello I want him. And Haley is a kick-butt woman who is amazing. This story was awesome.
This book is about battling your past and learning to forgive and forget. Awesome story. Tilya Eloff has an awesome style of writing. Can't wait for more from this author.
This is an absolutely amazing second book. I love Harley and Jack's story. This story has a perfect amount of love, self questioning, and timing. All or nothing is a must read, and to me is relatable. I recommend this book to anto who needs a little romance.
These two thought they had a love/hate relationship, but Jack's been protective of Harley at a young age, since they were in the same foster home. Jack also received a beautiful surprise and one he definitely wasn't expecting, but fell in love with. Harley had several miscarriages years ago and desperately wanted a baby, but was terrified of losing another one, but she had some corrective surgery done. Some sad moments throughout but as really awesome story. Happy reading.
Great second book in this series. Jack and Harley are brilliant characters, arguing constantly and just can't get on. But there's a fine line between love and hate!
Harley has been through so much and doesnt think she will ever have a family of her own especially with 'Jackass' lol. Jack is not after any form of relationship especially with Harley.
Things change when a surprise shows up at Jacks door and he needs Harleys help, it's rocky and hot hot hot until its becomes too much. Harley needs to overcome some of her issues so she can be truly happy. Will she be able to do it? Will Jack get everything he wants and needs?
Read All or Nothing and find out.
I recommend reading book 1, saving his Angel first
I really enjoyed the second book to the series. Harley and Jack are adorable, sometimes argumentative, with a good deal of avoidance, which makes them human and identifiable. Their drive to self-preservation stems form a dark, difficult past, both of them feeling unworthy. But when they actually let their walls down and commit, boy they are a well suited and hot couple, who will stand the test of time! Go on Tilya, I need book 3 in my life!
*****4.5 Stars***** This is my first read by this author and I completely surprise how good it was. Harley and Jack have this love hate feeling towards each other it makes their chemistry insanely hot to read. This story is one of my favorite type of troupes to read single dad (didn’t know), small town, love hate feelings, humor and a bit of drama. Harley and Jack have history from their child hood even if Jack acts like he doesn’t know; but now there in each other’s lives because of family and friends and have to learn how to get along. I can’t wait to get more of the other character’s story. *****ARC from Author form review*****
While reading this book, I came to the conclusion that I absolutely did not like Harley. The way she acts around Jack and the way she treats him, is very childish. Jack and Harley have a past, one that she thought he forgot about. Hence, her belief that her treatment of him is correct.
After Maddie and Xander's wedding, Jack had to corner Harley to get her to talk to him. To hopefully explain why she left him and his daughter with not word, just a note. A daughter who he never knew about until the birth mother showed up. A daughter who Harley treated as her own. A daughter who had already been abandoned by one mother. Their friends kept trying to get Harley to speak to Jack, to explain what happened.
The conclusion of the story, was too easy for me. Jack takes her back and Harley jumps right into the life of a mother again. It was too easy for them to come back together. Especially after the time frame she ignored him and the depths she went to do so.
Loved the fire between this couple Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 2, 2023 In book one you met Harley and Jack who were constantly at each other. Playful yet something more banter with one another.
Book two tells you more about their past and Harley's secret. There is so much pull with these two that it's hard to believe Harley can't see the devotion of the man in front of her, however when you know her secret, it's understandable that she can't trust easily.
Jack, always the player and party man, until he gets the surprise if his life, Jojo. This little girl is the changing point in his life. She is the thing that ultimately makes hi see that he can settle down and he can live one woman, infact he already does.
While I wish we could have seen Xander and Maddie's wedding through their perspectives and know a little more about their kids’ lives, this second-chance romance is a great second novel to the series. I'm still a Xander and Maddie stan through and through. I want a second book for them.
