The Legends of Prax: The Man in the Box

Rate this book
Infinity has its limits.Trapped within an expanding space armed with only a broken chunk of jagged marble, a mysterious stranger strives for purpose.

This GameLit novella was directly inspired by the Backrooms/Liminal Space phenomena and by the Incremental/Idle genre of games.

Interesting novella

An interesting interpretation of how the idle game system might look like from the inside. A bit slow in the opening chapters, but then that’s idle games all over, isn’t it? They all get more interesting as you get past the initial grind. Thought-provoking and well-written.

Different but good

It played out like a basic game you would see on an add that was extremely simple but could draw you in and I have to say Bravo 👏. It's not easy to write a story with basically only one person but Prax Venter did.
