He'd witnessed a heinous crime and now Kerri Nelson's young son insisted on testifying. Part of her was proud, but a bigger part wanted to wrap him in her arms and run. Then her nemesis—and one-time crush—Wade Sorenson stepped in and insisted on keeping them both safe. She had had no intention of relying on the man she blamed for shattering her family…until someone came after her little boy. Kerri soon found the safest place was in
Wade's arms—which scared her more than any elusive criminal ever could. And made her realize how much she still had to lose.

Reluctant Witness is a good romantic suspense by Kathleen Long. Ms. Long has provided readers with a well-written book. The characters are awesome and you can't help but love them. Kerri's son insists on testifying after witnessing an explosion that killed a man. Wade used to be one of her best friends, but when her husband is killed on one of his job sites, Wade testified that it was her husband's fault. Kerri and Wade's story is loaded with drama, spice, action and suspense. I enjoyed reading Reluctant Witness and look forward to reading more from Kathleen Long in the future.
I read a print copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I love clues traced to open wide the mystery. This book was exciting from the getgo, and full of twists and turns finally leading an axciting, scary end. No more clues.......read the book!!!
A Harlequin romance/suspense...about a boy who witnesses arson and the mother who wishes to protect him. Characters were outlined before the novel began so no need for character development making a fairly quick read.
I really enjoyed this book. It grabbed me at the beginning and I could hardly put it down. Learning to forgive is hard to do when you have been heartbroken. And now another loved one is at stake.
Unbelievable, but pleasantly quick little romance. The mother child relationship was well done but the mob families fighting and using an ecoterrorism seemed very far-fetched.
