Ro's story- A Midnight Syn MC spin-off.
Damned&Demented duet book 1

Four years I’ve spent in prison for a crime I didn’t commit, but I sat back and took my time. The club made it very apparent that I was no longer welcome there.
Now, I’m released and have no clue what I’m going to do with myself. I’m not surprised to see my foster sister and her family out waiting for me, but I am surprised when they bring me to what is apparently my new club. The one that my brothers created after they defected from our last.
Breaking into our old clubhouse, I find more than just my hidden stash of money that I went in for. Finding a half-dead/half-naked girl in what used to be my bed, and for some reason, even after seeing the needle marks on her arms, I still offered to protect her.
We know that when we start making noise, we will have a war on our hands. I’m sure that my alliance with the Midnight Syn will help, but what else will it bring out?

**working TW list**
violence, murder, revenge, childhood abuse/SA, drug use, addiction, detoxing/drug withdrawals, kidnapping, traumatic accident, generational trauma, mental health neglect, death, loss of a loved one, grief, mutilation, 'single-parent' [kind of], cliffhanger

(Thank you Peachy Keen and the author N. Tetterton for the eARC in exchange for a spoiler free review)

(Please check trigger warnings and author’s note before reading).

I’ve not read this author’s work before so this is the first. This is a spinoff from an existing series.

I feel that this duet can’t really be read as a standalone because the dialogues in this book are very confusing. Usually when it is an interconnected series with characters from other books, it is summarised in a line or a paragraph where you can understand the context but this book didn’t explain much.

However I wasn’t interested in the book. I couldn’t relate to the characters nor the plotline, the writing style was also messy.

I would say it's readable only if you've read the previous series.

“Nightmare Ive never been possessive, but I swear on my damn life if anyone ever looks at you in the wrong way again, they will be wishing for death.”

This is the first book in N Tettertons' Damned and Demented Duet series. Ro can be seen in her previous Midnight Syn series. This dark MC book contains trigger warnings.

When Ro returns home from prison, he discovers that he is unexpectedly the President of his new MC.
As he hunts for his enemies, he finds Sadie, strung out on drugs, sleeping in his old club bed. Sadie is running from her past, always carrying it with her. As Ro rescues her, she vows to keep her secrets from him.

As always, N Tetterton writes dark romance that never disappoints me. Sadie and Ro's story is no different. I was hooked from the beginning to the end of the story...
Looking forward to the second book in the duet.

A motorcycle romance that took me too long to read.

Ro has been in prison for 4 years for a crime that he did not commit. He’s back for revenge. When he goes to his old club house he finds a naked girl on drugs and feel compelled to take her home.

I was so confused in the beginning of the book and then I was with all the names that were thrown at me but after the confusion I was able to into the story. Both Sadie and Ro have dark and complicated past.

We have the motorcycle scene with a morally grey MMC and a struggling FMC who needs help.

The plot is great! And I loved watching these characters develop through out the book. The both grew into themselves and learned that they could help each other.

The spice is good. We get a lot of well written smut.

But she leaves us on a cliffhanger!! Now I will read the next book.

This book was absolutely perfect I loved every second of reading it. The angst in this book was amazing and heartbreaking, and the spice was off the charts good!! There were some amazing plot twists that made this book even better the best part is you don't see them coming so I was utterly shocked a few times which make the experience even better

Ro was introduced in Book 3 of my Midnight Syn MC series.
This has ties to the series and those characters show up, there are references of the previous books, but all character ties will be explained, and this one takes on its own obstacles.

If you've read the series, more specifically book 4, you will know that Ro has a dark backstory.

I haven’t read any Midnight Syn books but I’ve read Nic’s other books and loved them so I was excited to receive the arc of this. The book starts with Ro being released from jail where he served time for a crime his MC brothers pinned on him he is met by his foster sister and her family and taken to what has become his new MC set up by brothers that left the old MC due to the way Ro had been treated and although he doesn’t think he’s worthy they all voted for Ro to be Prez. When he goes to his old MC to get the money he hid before going to jail he finds a drugged and beat up girl on his old bed and he feels some sort of connection so he decides to take her with him to help he. Sadie isn’t the easiest to deal with and winds Ro up at every turn she says she wants to get clean but every time Ro turns his back she gets high again. I really enjoyed reading this and I can’t wait for book 2.

a nightmare is still someone’s dream

After loosing the much older love of her life Sadie goes to a party at an mc clubhouse where she catches the eye of the president j. He drugs her and keeps her drugged so she becomes addicted and then lets her go free. Only days later she returns in withdrawals and he never lets her go.

After a 4 year prison sentence for a crime he didn’t commit Ro is out and looking for vengeance on the mc he was president of before j betrayed him and took over. When he breaks in to the old clubhouse to get his hidden money he finds Sadie drugged and beaten so he rescues her.

Sadie is Ella’s best friend and addicted to drugs so much so that she goes to any lengths to get them. That is until to is finally able to break through and helps her get clean.
What they weren’t expecting is for Ro to help her move on from her grief and become her rock. And as much as he wants to keep her at arms length he falls for his nightmare. Spice level 10/10 ends on a cliffhanger but hopefully there is an HEA

The book is full of mystery, two people meeting in a very unexpected scenario and then there’s an instant spark between them. I loved the chemistry between Sadie and Ro. The story is very spicy. The plot is very very interesting, I enjoyed the detailing in it. Every mysterious thing got cleared up by the end of the book, I got to know the answers to the question I was asking since the beginning.

Ro is a sweetheart in many ways and the way Sadie got to show her real self was captivating. She’s a strong protagonist. The cliffhanger is mind-blowing, although a short relief the author gave at the very end was very much necessary for me, otherwise, I would have gone mad not knowing WTH happened and now what. THE WAR IS COMING. I am very excited to read book 2, diving into it right now.

This book was raw, emotional & had me hooked f/the start.
Both Sadie & Ro are 2 broken souls who are drawn to each other & help heal each other. This was such an amazing & heart-wrenching read, the struggles Sadie went through, she wanted to be clean, but the pain she was feeling f/the past & secrets she carried kept making her turn to drugs. Ro was perfect, he was firm & determined to help her. I loved how these 2 connected & how Ro helped her & supported her after he discovered her secret.
But I was waiting for the shoe to drop & oh boy did it! This cliffhanger was one of worst best ones! I didn’t see it coming & I’m so excited & scared a little to see how everything plays out in the next book- which I’m starting NOW!!!! I definitely recommend this book, but check trigger warnings.

What a ride this book was! Ro and Sadie are two lost souls who are both pretty broken. This book was full of suspense and violence. Sadie is a woman who has lost someone important and makes one bad decision that’s turns her life upside down in a very bad way. Ro is just out of prison for something he did not do. He is trying to find his place and come across and saves Sadie. This book had a lot packed into it. I was at first a little confused with the MC clubs and the flow was off just a little for me at the start. Then things picked up and the storyline was very good. The spice once it hits is done well and there is a lot of it.

Disclaimer: I received this book as an ARC.

The beginning of the book was really confusing. There was so much thrown at you with very little explanation, but you kinda pieced it together as the book went on. I normally wouldn't mention grammatical errors, but this book had a ton of small errors, where I had to reread the sentence to try and make sense of it. Overall though, I didn't feel like the book captured my attention. I understand why Ro started to help Sadie, but Ro started to sound like a parent to a toddler (toddler being Sadie); he would threaten to discipline her if she did it again, but never followed through.

Fiery Love

N. Tetterton’s first book in her ‘Damned & Demented’ series has you brimming with so much emotions that you can’t put the book down to even take a potty break. Ro and Sadie, the main characters, don’t seem like they would make a good match. But over time you begin to see that they compliment each other and bond well. This story will really take you for a ride with it’s ups and downs and twists and turns. The ending is quite shocking and you definitely don’t want to miss it. Highly recommended and definitely a MUST read!

As usual, Tetterton ripped my hearts to shreds with her latest book. She knows exactly all the right notes to hit in her emotional and spicy MC romances, and all the tangled webs that interconnect her universe of characters.

Her characters are realistic, ones that will have you laughing, and crying, and rooting for. Webs We Weave was no different, and I loved every moment of it.

If you're looking for an entire universe of MC characters, start with Khan and go from there. But don't come crying to me when you're emotionally invested and can't put it down!

I wanted to say thank you to the author and Peachy Keenas for an ARC copy of this book!

It was a wild ride to say the least and it hit... very close to home in some aspects that made me so emotional but not in a bad way entirely!

I really enjoyed this. I think the spice was phenomenal, but it didn't like... "WOW" me if that makes sense. I'm still super excited to read more in the series and more of this authors work!

This is the first book in the Damned and Demented series. This book is a MC romance. This book had me invested from beginning to end. This book had so much suspense, action, steam and more. The FMC and MMC are both broken souls who have been through a lot. The storyline was great and I really enjoyed reading it. This was my first MC read by this author. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Ro is now the President of a MC. He feels protective of Sadie after finding her in his bed while trying to retrieve something from his old place. There is drama, revenge, darkness and so much more. Buckle up.

Ro is amazingly patient with Sadie, which is exactly what she needs. This MC romance took a minute for me to get into, but once it took off it took off! I love Linc, I hate J and I need to know what happened!!!

This book is a challenge to rate and review. It read like a rough draft with errors throughout. I tried my best to block it out and the story itself was quite enjoyable. I liked the characters, their was tons of drama, some suspense and spice. So much potential, this just needs an editor or at least a few beta readers.
